I know I'm just adding to what's already been said. But personally, I'm excited anytime I see this game has an update. I thought it was finished years ago after the spider boss was added. Everything he has released since then is just icing, fluff, the lagniappe. And to those of you raging at the dev for inconsistent updates, your rage is wholly misplaced on this man. There are plenty of other devs and threads that deserve your ire, not this dude. In fact I can think of no one less deserving of it.

Is there a download where you can just download the whole game as one? I know that's my main issue with installing the game. For some reason when I do the parts, I go to play it and it's error central etc. When I do just the update file, it never works for me, it causes the game to crash. I dunno what the deal is, I think I might be doing something wrong? but I'm fairly certain I've done everything how it's suppose to me. =\

You could also use DeepL for translation. BtT, I know how bad depression can be, because they can
drive you into self suicide (I survived luckily). This is what I always fear, when I hear that someone
I like, has depression. I want to see him success in what he does and enjoy life. His games were
really interesting so far. True, he never finished his games so far and I wish we could see the ending
of Hounds of the Blade, but I have good hope how he wants to finish this game, no matter what.

I haven't tried the new update, but I'm downloading while I type, so I will see the result soon.
But let me tell you, if he thinks his games are worse than other people, Inui is wrong. There are
so many trash games here on F95zone, which can't even hold up with this game. I mean, most
of them are simply RPG Maker games with artwork. But this is a 3D fighting game with such a
great flair and design, which you can't find anywhere. As I said before, I wish I could make a
game like Inui did with this one.

On the topic of depression, suffering from it myself, I can attest that it isn't something one simply 'rides out'.

It'll come in waves sure and some bouts will hit harder than others, I used to take anti-deps (or as what I adopted from 'We Happy Few' game, "Joy") and they worked wonders at first, brought me to a state which I imagined for others was their "normal" but for me it was just... ecstatic.

Then, eventually, I wouldn't say the effect wore off so much as my body started building a tolerance to it and eventually the doc said "We could increase the dosage but ultimately the gains will be dwarfed by the drawbacks" (I'm paraphrasing), so I eventually weened myself off them entirely.

Long story short, much like what has already been stated in prior pages it is indeed a chemical imbalance of the brain (or rather a result of the brain not producing enough endorphins/happy chemicals on its own... this could vary) and largely thus far not something that is "cured" but it can certainly be treated/mitigated to a large extent.

And because the human mind is so wildly varied from one to another, there is no "one trick fixes all", so Inui has what I have in what I affectionately refer to as "Bastard Brain". :c

Great game. Too bad it's more or less linear and not extensive free roam like Violated Heroine or LonaRPG. Also, would love to see all kinds cosmetic options for her.
