It's ironic it seems getting supporters bothers some Devs. I'm sure it adds a layer of pressure. How many years did the language barrier stop all english support? And before that it was a pattern he would drop a project and start new. It's like he wants to do that here. Drop it chill out and come back when the passion returns and start a new project. Here he feels pressured to finish.
If he lost all support and communications it would be the best thing for him. I mean personally I'd fly over and suck his dick, and I aint like that! but I've enjoyed his games more than any normal person should. He is probably the greatest Dev I've ever followed. Decades of content, never asked for anything, best of niche content out there. Best thing is he's stayed pure the whole time. While every other Dev caves to patreon and supporters who want futa, bigger tits, or loli. I feel like he's the same Dev today as he was when he made the little ax chick and orcs. He's grown and learned new tech and been honest the whole time.
