why isn't anyone asking the important question here, which is whether these are Regular Spiders or Ass Spiders

i mean everyone knows the Ass Fly enemies in HOTB, Nanocrisis are timeless classics. just think of the impact to gaming culture if the dev had foolishly made them Regular Flies instead... it would have been a catastrophe.

I´m pretty sure if it was ordinary flies and Spiders you wouldn´t need to hire a Girl with a Katana or Power Suit! XD

For all you asking for saves, just start a new game then edit your save in notepad and change hunter level to 99...now all levels are unlocked.

where is the Hounds of the Blade english translation located? i'm kind of unclear on how nanocrisis, HOTB, and HOTB overlap in this thread, and some guy's signature, and then also ULMF or something.

i have a feeling it's baked into some general HOTB install and that's why i'm having trouble

It's already translated by the developer (though quality isn't always great), so it's in the game files. There are a couple of options in the settings menu. The actual files are in the Text folder in the game files.

As for the overlap, they're other, unfinished, games with worse translations by the same developer with the same general theme. IIRC the other ones aren't posted here, but I've not confirmed that.

Well, that's not for this game and that one has been abandoned by the developer for a long time. So unless someone has done a further translation (no one has AFAIK), that's what you get. If you want you could check if there's a translation request / in progress in the translation section of the forum.

Well, that's not for this game and that one has been abandoned by the developer for a long time. So unless someone has done a further translation (no one has AFAIK), that's what you get. If you want you could check if there's a translation request / in progress in the translation section of the forum.

the game was fully translated long ago. but the one i downloaded from uh... that one guy around here's signature (why is the game attached to an individual and not a thread? lol) is untranslated and has some bizarre voice acting mods that are pretty much unbearable

Because it's a dead game. If anything it would make more sense to lobby this threads OP to revise the 1st post and add Inui's other games. But again.. they're dead.. so.. is it worth it? Plus getting all the gooners coming in here asking about when they'll get updates when there never will be updates?

i feel like we're miscommunicating here. i'm saying, hounds of the blade was translated into english long ago. what i'm confused about is why the most current iteration i can find of the installation file is an untranslated one with what seems to be a bunch of custom voiceovers spliced in. it's additionally disorienting because every time i've searched and found a different link, nobody in the thread goes "why do i hear an unrelated clip of a chick screaming from some porno playing" or "i literally can't read or do anything because it's in japanese". everyone loves it and says it's great

and also no, i won't die if i don't find it lol. this is very low stakes. but then again, so is everything here — if i wanted to be efficient i could just tug it to memories of actual sexual intercourse in 5 min and call it a day. i just would prefer to light some candles, dim the lights, put on some smooth r&b, and watch whatever weird cyber prostitute bounty hunter robot girl have eggs oviposited into her asshole. that's not weird

Nah, I just.. check back frequently and review the notifications bell. This is really only 1/3 threads I watch here on FZ95. Everything else is kinda meh.

respectfully, i am 10,000% certain your version is not the baseline. i've been watching dogfactory since the first public release of nanocrisis, and... trust me. you don't want to understand how or why i'm so certain of this lol. and it's not like you did anything wrong; i'm just a snob who hates change. anyway at some point this week i'll dig up a "stock" installation file (if possible) and bring it back here. i'm sure it's on ULMF somewhere

that being said, i'm guessing the installations available online forked at some point, and now the one you have is considered the "main" one. which is fine, i just personally don't care for it. when i first opened it, i actually thought i had opened another window by accident somehow for a minute or so before i realized that really was just the game sound.

i'm back bearing unmodded HOTB, plus wessex english translation, plus two additional translations contributed by two other guys whose names i don't remember. sorry, bad with names. i only remember wessex because i interacted with him working on the translation.
