Having said all that, I still have plans for House Arrest, but I want to disassociate it completely from my Patreon. Not that I do not like the financial help of people like you, on the contrary, this is extremely important to me, not because I'm going to buy Ferraris as the developers of the Summertime Saga are probably doing , but because it shows that what I do, at least to about 500 people (my patrons), has some value.

My plans for House Arrest from now on are:
- recreate the entire game in 1080p with "modern" HS graphics
- recreate all animations
- review the writing
- finish the Portuguese translation and possibly add one in French (a player was doing it some time ago)
- add new scenes in the sandbox
- Alanna = niece

Re-creating in 1080p will not be difficult, since I basically have the whole game saved in Honey Select. All I need to do is recreate the scenes with the new character models (the ones I use in sandbox mode, which have different textures) and the lighting mods I currently use.

I intend to do these things when I feel willing to work on them, without deadlines and without putting behind paywalls.

(in the current ending Joel is too calm and away during all the act and Alanna changed from a slutty girl in love with her uncle to a calm and respectful little wife... it's too sudden I think).

A big problem with my "style" is that I do not have a script and I create things without any kind of method. For this to work, I must do things spontaneously. This was not the case with Alanna's last scene, I did not create spontaneously based on an idea that I thought would be fun. I created it because I knew that if I did not do it soon, all my work on all three projects would be at stake.

I'm not saying that the end was a complete piece of garbage (taking away the part of that hermaphrodite girl that does not make the slightest sense and I just kept it because I got to a critical point and I just decided to deliver what I had). But neither is it very good and I do not find it worthy of what Alanna represents during the game. However, as I said before, either I would deliver this, or I would spend another one or two stressed months delaying all my other games.

Now I'm going to work on my other projects and when I feel a bit overwhelmed and need to do something different to rest my mind, I'm finally going back to House Arrest and doing things my way, creating a more satisfying scene for Alanna.

When will I do this? I do not know, now I'm "free" from House Arrest and I hope this feeling not only improves the updates of my other games, but give me the peace of mind I need to create something spontaneous and fun as the first scenes of the game.

And when I finish the game, I will provide a lewdpatch that will change the story so Alanna becomes Joel's niece again. Maybe she could even be his daughter, I think it's just making some tweaks in the story that this would work, too. But in the official version she is the adopted daughter of the protagonist's sister. And it is from this that I am writing the story of the game.

At first Sandbox Mode seemed like a excellent idea, but then I started to realize that it was not working very well.

The initial intention was only to make a superficial interaction between different characters and offer sex scenes with them. The Allana scene (solo) is an example of this, you can talk about some topics and then have sex in different positions.

The problem is that I was basically cloning the Honey Select and charging $3 for it! I tried to create some story for the scenes so that they made a little more sense, but I always got that bad impression that I was prolonging something uselessly and the fact of that being behind a paywall at Patreon made me even less comfortable to continue working on the game.

See, I'll never do as other developers who drop projects to start working on something that will give more money. But that does not mean that continuing to work on certain aspects of a game indefinitely is always beneficial. Some Sandbox scenes were beginning to distort Alanna's personality and generating scenes that, in my opinion, were not so inspired.

Also, the core of the game was long completed and I've been dragging it for months with updates that would be great as a gift to fans, but which, in my opinion, don't justify getting behind a paywall at Patreon.

I hope one day you'll find some inspiration for House Arrest again because it's a good game and a success in the little world of amateur porngames (I discover your works on Patreon thanks to this game for example), but as I said before you're doing great games with Solvalley and HS Tutor so it's useless to force yourself to work on this project for now.

I just got to that part and didn't expect it because there's no fucking tag about it.

also if the authors reads us, I wan t him to know that the game is great and hilarious, but at the same time the pregnancy was managed absolutely fucking poorly. I was hoping in some pregnant sex or something like that, instead we see alanna get pregnant then some dialogs, then boom, not pregnant anymore and then MC comes home and there's normal sex again.

why in the actual fuck. a futa gets pushed ingame without warning or possibility to avoid it, and then pregnancy gets avoided like ebola.

The old man is lowkey one of the best MCs in this site. This game is fucking hilarious. Great job dev, you have made a very good game with characters that actually have depth and isn't just walking tits.

Thank you for the honesty it's really refreshing, now that you went a little more in depth with your future vision of what you're planning i have a better understanding, yes please taking it off patreon will help the story more to finally admit she is related hence why he puts up with so much of her shit lol.

I think that scene was the first one I really regretted putting on one of the updates since I started creating games a year and a half ago. I honestly do not know what I was thinking when I created that scene, since I do not understand this "futa" fetish and at no point did anyone ask me to put it in the game. I literally put something I do not like and that nobody asked for in one of the scenes that should be one of the most important of the game.

This is a good example of how I was no longer thinking right when I was working at House Arrest.
