If its the former, obvivously only the creator can solve it by developing in a way that the saves are portable, if its the latter, same thing, the way I see creators making sure saves appear on any version of the game you play is using a default directory in in the system instead of just saving files in the game folder which is what this creator does, but you can always keep your saves somewhere you can find later, like in a forum's post

It is RPGM, saves are stored in same folder as game. So if you delete old game without moving saves somewhere else first, they are gone... or in your trash bin (or I am gaslighting, sorry). Anyway, here is save with 100% after this update, so you can repeat and see mentioned scenes.

It's an RPG-maker game, not a Renpy. You can just copy the /www/save file over from the old installation to the new (or paste the contents of the new folder into the old and overwrite if that's less complicated).

The dev is working on THREE games. This, Zombies Retreat 2, and sexy quest. If they were someone like Beggar or the dev for Summer Time saga, then I'd agree with the people complaining. But they aren't, Siren actually makes frequent updates for all their games. Shit, they are actually able to juggle all 3. You wanna bitch? Bitch at someone who deserves it.

Old saves work fine, you just have to copy them over like every other previous update. That being said, the quality is pretty good with only a couple bugs, but the amount of content is rather dismal as usual.

Enjoy the five minutes you'll spend and prepare for another month or two for the next drip.

And all those games have exactly the same copy pasted sexual content. Nothing is new.
Now, from a gameplay perspective, the games can be quite fun. I really enjoyed Town of Passion but nothing stood out from a sexual content POV. All Siren games follow the same formula: get a handjob -> boobjob -> blowjob -> sex. Very slightly is this ever different.
Threesomes in particular are most boring shit. Girls only interact in two scenes in Zombie's Retreat and the second scene is literal palette swap of the first one.

So no, I will continue to bitch at these devs. These are porn games first and foremost. Either do something new and with more content or divert your efforts elsewhere if game developing is more up your alley.

Here's a way to carry saves over. Thanks to the original poster.

House Chores supports the use of transferring saves from your old version to your new version.

In order to do this, here's a step by step process:

1- In the folder containing your new copy of House Chores, find and click into the folder named 'www'
-Within the new 'www' folder, create another folder named 'save'


1*- If this step is too complicated for you, starting up your new copy of House Chores and saving will automatically create
this new folder for you.


2- In the folder containing your OLD copy of House Chores, find the save folder and copy EVERY file within the folder


3- Paste these files into your NEW save folder

This is what these idiots cannot figure out and need people to write instructions for them.
These are the people I'm debating on why these devs and games are trash. How can I explain it to them when they can't solve basic puzzles in the game or figure out how to transfer save files.

There's an even easier way that requires less steps (aka less ways to screw up, cause people will scre up) : open your old game's folder, go to /www/, copy the /save/ folder, go paste it at the same place inside the new game's /www/

You don't need to make another /save/ folder and then paste the older 1 on top of it, just grab the old and dump it in there

aaaaand for the sixth time i have to play this over again because i keep deleting the previous version, i'm so done with this game.
