it needs the global file that goes with the save to work, the method you suggested doesn't work either.
Just finished the update and... I won't lie, I expected a little more than there was; I thought each character would have their own individual scene before the foursome. It's still a fun epilogue and a fantastic game overall, one of the best 2D animated games out there because of how charming the characters are and how good the animation is.
Although, what did intrigue me, was the ending of the epilogue; is the dev planning a sequel which will feature a grandmother-like figure added to the roster? I mean, I'm all for that, bring it on. I bet that'll take some time, though.

Yeah, plus there's the writing...
It's a little... too on point without actually naming names. It's built in but barely hidden.
Basically like those games with the 'true story' kinda cheats.
Not ideal, but you can tell the dev tried to think ahead and not compromise on their vision.
Hell yeah!!! the epilogue update is here!! The waiting has finally paid off! After Eternum, this game is definitely my favorite, and my most anticipated final update/update in general. I'm not quite to the end of the game yet, and probably won't play it til Saturday/Sunday due to having a lot of stuff to do, but I'm ready to see what's in store and complete the game! It's such a 10 out of 10! And having 3 beautiful women who are all 10s certainly helps that score. Cheers! I know Imma enjoy this when I can really dive in. Thanks for sharing!

Zombie's Retreat 2 x House Chores | First Look!
Hey everyone!
Today I'm super excited to share a proper first look at the next update coming soon to Zombie's Retreat 2! This time, featuring a new, yet familiar face!
== Beta 0.27 ==
This update will be a special crossover update with one of my other game projects, House Chores!
In Beta 0.27, Linda magically stumbles into Crimson City along with a mysterious (and noisy) guest in her home. While Linda is familiar with Crimson City, this version of the city doesn't quite look like what she's used to. Perhaps she and her house-mate are from another world? It's up to the ZR2 MC to get to the bottom of this mystery!
To those wondering, this update will not feature any sharing or similar themes. All NSFW scenes with Linda will feature her and her 'special someone', aka the House Chores main character. Despite that, maybe Linda will let the ZR2 MC get a little peak at what they are up to whenever the chores have been finished
Progress on the update is moving along quite well so look forward to some NSFW teasers for $3+ ZR2 Patrons coming soon as well as a release date announcement!
== 2026 Plans ==
In the upcoming few weeks, I plan to share a tentative roadmap for the future of Zombie's Retreat 2 moving into the new year! I know some of you are eager to see that next main story update so I'll be detailing my plans for that as well.
2026 should be a very exciting year for ZR2! I look forward to sharing those updates as everything continues to progress!
