Why do you spawn in the house for the vickie vixen dlc but it's no way out the house is just me or is anybody has the same issue?

Is it normal to have characters randomly disappear?

Edit: Okay, they aren't just disappearing from the house, they are disappearing from the game entirely. Even when staring a new one.
