It's running like a dream for me. If you send your logs to the devs, they're usually pretty helpful. I think there's one that hangs out here.Game crashes as soon as it loads new game..Anyone else have this issue?
I should be able to run it tho.
Cool thanks manIt's running like a dream for me. If you send your logs to the devs, they're usually pretty helpful. I think there's one that hangs out here.
It runs like butter on my system maxed out, and I don't really have the latest and greatest in terms of hardware. I get over 60 FPS at all times on Ultra, and I saw a 20FPS increase between 0.12.4 and 0.13.0. Just disabling shadows will grant you back a bunch of FPS. I dunno. This is debatable. I think the game looks fantastic on Ultra, and if they reduce the quality more, it's the better PCs that will have to suffer for the sake of the potatos out there. With all the breast and butt jiggle and hair movement they have, etc.. there's just no way this game is going to run well on older PCs on Ultra, and it *shouldn't* IMO. The Ultra setting is for high end PCS. If I turn everything off I get like 300 FPS, so this game *can* run on most systems, just not on Ultra setting, which makes complete sense. I'm all for them making the game as nice-looking as possible and allowing the players to turn stuff off.The game is NOT getting any easier to render on maxed graphics settings, still relatively unoptimized (especially with the realistic shadows option).
yea mod link just right to download save as, no information what mod isI'm rather surprised they're still developing it... I think the 0.7 or 0.8 version was the last I've played. What does the mod do anyway?
Surprised? It's like one of the best-selling adult games of all time. Why would they stop?I'm rather surprised they're still developing it... I think the 0.7 or 0.8 version was the last I've played. What does the mod do anyway?
I dont know what system you have, you didnt exactly give me much info. I dont have the latest and greatest either....see? It doesnt say much.It runs like butter on my system maxed out, and I don't really have the latest and greatest in terms of hardware. It's just a system I bought a couple years ago. GTX1080, i5, and 16GB of RAM. It was probably a high(ish) end system when I bought it (I only paid like around $1500 for it), but it's two years old now, so it wouldn't even qualify as high end now. So, from my vantage point, I feel like being able to have 60+ FPS in Ultra mode, the game is in a pretty good place right now running that well on a two year old system.I dont know what system you have, you didnt exactly give me much info. I dont have the latest and greatest either....see? It doesnt say much.
I know I can disable the shadows option, its how I normally run the game. But while with that option disabled it used to run at 60 FPS at all times buttery smooth, now I see the framerate dip to 50 (worst case scenario).
As for reducing quality, not only I wouldnt advocate for that, but I would advocate for the opposite.
Sadly, they HAVE reduced graphics quality on some areas, for the sake of adding more environment eye candy, as well as lighting enhancements.
The models still look slightly worse than some older versions of the game, and thats the trade-off.
Great idea! It is really time to replace these old pics. Maybe include some more "explicit" screenshots and then tag MuffDiver to change them. This way new players can better evaluate whether or not they should spend their time trying this game ^^New Screenshots for the game. use it OP if u want.
Yeah... but those links should not be left in the posts here. Otherwise they do get server load from unpaid players.I actually lol'ed at this comment. Revision....lol.
Anyway, (for future versions) isnt it technically possible, to copy this link (eekllc.com/Download/alpha/0.13.0/HouseParty.0.13.0.x64.1218.zip) somewhere, and then use some kind of automated program that will be trying urls one number at a time, a few thousand times, and after a while, you get a working link that you can use?
And as a follow up question: Would this put a load/strain on their servers? Because most of those urls will be invalid (Page Not Found).
I hope someone tech savvy can answer.

Thanks for the link btw, I appreciate it.
You're insane, a GTX 1080 is a high end GPU. Your definition of "high end" must be: "The best GPU on the consumer market" because the 1080 was the second best GPU of its time after the 1080 ti was released, and the best GPU of its time when Nvidia launched its GTX 10 series cards (Pascal). It's just a system I bought a couple years ago. Personally, I think the models look vastly improved from previous versions, but again, I am running with real-time shadows ON, and that *does* make a huge difference. The characters before were cartoony, and didn't rely on shadows and light to make them look good. Now the reverse is true, so running without all the options can make them look less appealing for sure, but they look fantastic to me on Ultra. I mean some of my screenshots look just as good as a render from some of these visual novel games.
Bottom line, if your system is > 2 years old, I think you *should* need to reduce some quality options to run it, and vice verse, if your system was built in the last two years, you should be able to run the game very smoothly. I think that's right on the nose in terms of quality vs optimization. You're forgetting that even most AAA games don't have as much hair movement and breast jiggle and high def textures. That all adds up. I think they are doing the right thing catering to high end, but allowing lesser PCs to turn off options. It makes sense. In a few years, it won't even matter, and everybody will be able to play this on Ultra because people will have newer systems, and this game isn't even "finished" yet. I think they said their release date to call it done is late 2019. All of this factors in IMO.
You can get a 1080 for a few hundred bucks. It's not like I have the best 1080 on the market either. I forgot exactly what I have, but if I bought it two years ago *included* in a system that I paid $1500 for on Amazon, I doubt it's the end-all high end GPU you're making it out to be. I wouldn't exactly call that high-end. The 1080 was honestly the biggest draw to my buying the system because I wanted to game on it. You could probably buy the same system today for less than $1k.You're insane, a GTX 1080 is a high end GPU. Your definition of "high end" must be: "The best GPU on the consumer market" because the 1080 was the second best GPU of its time after the 1080 ti was released, and the best GPU of its time when Nvidia launched its GTX 10 series cards (Pascal).
The 1080 is still a high end GPU, and roughly equivalent to an RTX 2070 in terms of performance. The 2070 is considered high end, with the X060 GPU's being traditionally in the mid end category.
As for the graphics, the game couldnt possibly hope to compete with AAA titles, the graphics are vastly inferior to modern 2019 AAA games.
Not only has hair movement existed in video games for many years now, but things like physics simulation for breast jiggle and high def textures have existed for well over a decade, and not just for popular AAA games; Illusion games are probably a prime example of this, making heavy use of breast jiggle and yes in some of their games high def textures (the newer games).
TL;DR; You dont seem to have a very good idea of what you're talking about. Your system sounds like a pretty capable high end gaming rig (of course not the best), and House Party is poorly optimized for what it offers, especially when compared to popular Illusion games (and those arent even AAA titles).
P.S. I have a GTX 970. Of course HP runs perfectly fine on your 1080, DUH. It would be absurd to expect the GTX 1080 to not be able to handle this game.
