ty , sadly no gog or epic ...That one and the version for Patreons.
I am patient. It's currenty very buggy anyway.ty , sadly no gog or epic ...
They have a preview video of this game on the house party patreonOffice Party is the next follow up game.Very cool I think.
I don't think anyone knows i just heard the name once in a while and was like like ??? then just yesterday they tossed out that teaser trailer. This "Office Party" will be something like House Party part 2 or there will be some changes like npc customisation or more focus on sex stuf?
I doubt that there will be customizations, that would require a different engine and they really don't have the manpower for that. The current engine does not even allow to put other clothes on a character other than those which were specifically designed for it.This "Office Party" will be something like House Party part 2 or there will be some changes like npc customisation or more focus on sex stuf?
They said recently that the reason HP took 6 years is because it started out with one solo dev making a full-blown 3D game. Now that they have a team and the HP engine to build off of, Office Party should go much quicker. They are making a lot more money and can afford to do more and probably even multiple projects at once. I just saw HP went up on the Epic Game Store.I don't think anyone knows i just heard the name once in a while and was like like ??? then just yesterday they tossed out that teaser trailer.
I mean its going too be the house parties 6th or7th birthday when it gets out of "early access"
I am guessing 2030 when we get office party full version.
Quick edit there as i think its going to be 7yrs old house party or will it be 6? i am sure someone here can clarify.
There's an official post somewhere where the main guy talks about it. I can't find it right now, but from memory, it's gonna be like HP, except a bigger world and more places to go, and more stuff to do. I think they said character customization would be a thing as well. This "Office Party" will be something like House Party part 2 or there will be some changes like npc customisation or more focus on sex stuf?
It's not hard to use, it just a pain.Any noob tried to use the custom story creator, is it easy to use for someone with no experience?
They promised customization, no idea if there will be since they have many people working on their game but not many programmers. They said years ago that main focus was time: no more a single evening but many days....each character will have a schedule and time will matter. Also the place will be surely bigger but no idea in which way: a single huge area or many modules with a small loading time between each other? Everyone will prefer the huge area but of course it requires more resources and also pathfinding is more problematic. This "Office Party" will be something like House Party part 2 or there will be some changes like npc customisation or more focus on sex stuf?
Not the ones where chars move. Did you ever follow the old man in Monkey Island on his way to the swordmaster? Once he arrives there, he talks to Carla, then leaves again. That's just one of many examples. There are many classic adventures games where chars walk around, talk to each other. Most adventure script engines support such events. Adding a random destination for the chars is just a minor detail.House Party has random interactions between characters, classic adventure games have characters in fixed location.

Yep. Nothing really out of the ordinary here. All a question of scripting. Usually designers don't use many random options, since it can be annoying if a character blocks the spot one wants to click. But it's all possible and has been used many times in the past.Rachael will walk up to Patrick and beat him up
Amy will walk up to Stephanie and stub her toe
Rachael will walk up to Lety and... do... whatever the fuck that is called.
The Game Grumps will interact with characters all the time when they are spawned.
