Are there gentlemen in ANY of these porn games?
The desire on the part of some players to play a gentleman in a porn game is . . . shocking to me.
All of these porn games are about fornication, often with multiple women at once.
If an MC is "nice" and invites one of these women on a date or offers her his bed while he sleeps on the couch in his own place . . . all with the OBVIOUS goal of fornicating with her -- well, is this a gentleman?
These are porn games, and the people who play these games are not playing courtship games that lead to holy matrimony when the "you may kiss the bride" option finally becomes available. I'm sure chaste romance games like that exist somewhere.
In this game, we have a no-nonsense MC with dominant traits who just isn't interested in romancing anyone.
In real life, by the way, his seduction method often works -- because women know that a "nice" guy is often being nice only to fornicate with her. (Ah . . . now you know why the jerk was dating all those girls in college.)
So, maybe I will agree with those who say he's an asshole.

But his great attribute is: he doesn't PRETEND he isn't. That's why girls are attracted to him.
Maybe a game like this feels uncomfortable to certain players because this is not their seduction method in real life. In real life these men seek to fornicate by being sweet and friendly and very protective and doing anything she wishes and buying her gifts . . . and so, they want that same "gentleman" seduction method in their porn games.
That's my only guess.

By the way, the very successful game The Headmaster -- which seems to have been one of the inspirations for The Housekeeper -- also had many initial complaints about the MC for very similar reasons. The Headmaster MC wasn't "nice," he was an "abuser," a "creep" . . . but the developer continued anyway, and now it's a very successful game with a wide fan base who understands that any "nice" guy who is nice only to fornicate is a false faced gentleman.

On the route I follow, the guy isn't that asshole, at least after a while. Yes, he starts out being it, but little by little he improves (if that is what you like; getting worse according to other points of view), it isn't that he can be considered a gentleman certainly.
In this game the MC isn't a gentleman, nor in the "good" path. I don't see that it's a problem.
On the other hand, I tend to be nice to everyone. Most of the time I have no intention of having sex with my female interlocutor (however, I can assure you that if that is my intention it is incredibly effective, and they usually want to repeat, for the rest, that of being protective, buying gifts and making Whatever she wants, I leave it to the boyfriend if she has one)
Otherwise, I like how the "good" path is developing.
If he's spanking her, he's an asshole. If he makes her be a maid, he's an asshole. The guy who served in Iraq and was/is a LEO had it 100% right until his message mysteriously disappeared. Apparently there is a Stalin who has mod power here.
If all the outfits he has are maid outfits, he's a superasshole. If he agrees to take her in without a bed for her, he's an asshole. Unless he does what exactly said - a bedroom while she's going to school - he's an asshole taking advantage.
I won't judge the game yet. Well, I don't like this tv show, I'm not into that and I don't like this kind of MC at all but you can see that the game has a deep story. I want to see what actually made the MC that way (or if he's always been that way) and if he's going to change (or not) his behavior (depending on which path you choose). Precisely for this reason I will not make any rash judgments, because there is a story to be built. I like games with a story and not games where in the first frame the MC already has sex with all the characters, because you know, it's a visual novel.

I think its safe to say that you don't like the game at all when you call it shit after a few minutes already.

It depends on the path you follow, you can either delve deeper into the perversions of the MC (I haven't followed it, so I can't say how it really is either), or on the contrary make the MC reject those perversions and change their behavior (even little by little his way of thinking).
At first the MC didn't appeal to me, but it's possible that if you give it a chance you will like it: the story is good, and I think that both paths (changing or entering the perversions) are quite well focused (I'm sure of the first one by own experience, and from the comments of the thread I can say that with enough security of the second way as well). Choosing one or the other depends only on your tastes.

So I just started playing this game and stopped after the first few minutes to ask yall a question cause I don't wanna waste my time with this shit.. The renders look good but the MC is just a disgusting person, he's a perv and he treats Nancy like shit.. Plus he finds amusement in a dumb show that degrades women, then there's the fact that his ex wife's clothes were just maid outfits, like what the fuck.. If this dude ain't a mysognist then I don't know ..my question tho, for those who played this game far enough, is this the direction of the game?..is this dude gonna be like this throughout the game? I'd rather not play it if I'm stuck playing as this dude
I did just that I gave it I gave it a try and I realized the MC can change.. At first I was taken back when two options popped up, one that said spank Nancy or forgive her, but the forgive her option wasn't available for some reason so I thought the dev just wanted me to be a dick lol.. But then I played the game from the start again to see if I missed anything then I realized it all came down to the blanket scene.. Where u can either be a perv or be a gentleman and cover her while she sleeps.. I guess I'm now more open to the game given the fact that I can make the MC a good guy instead of being a perv.. I just wish he could stop watching that dumb show, that's one of the things that makes him feel like a creep

This game hits you so fast with the "sorry girl, you're gonna be my personal plaything maid" it's a bit offputting. But I guess it doesn't have time to wait since we need to cram in the insane game show, the fact he's some kind of agent maybe, his sexy hacker agent he saved once, his new job teaching girls (and of course spying on them) at a local college, and his friend at the modeling agency or something that is the kind of horny you only see in these games. That all consuming kind of horny that makes them unable to resist jumping on your dick.
I was honestly trying to keep up with the story, but it was a bit hard.
Also, it was super creepy for your maid's mom (and your longtime friend) to show up and go "by the way she will do anything you want because I've trained her all her life to be your fucktoy". Hell, practically everybody in your life is going "why are you waiting? Start sexually abusing your teenage maid already!" Is my dick some kind of magic power source? Why is everybody so interested in where I put it? Even by porno game standards this one is horny.

Other than that, this looks pretty good so far. Decent freedom of choice without it being overwhelming and while still having a clearly defined MC, interested to see where you take it from here.

I'm not sure how Amy gets the necklace, from the conversation it seems that it is a "gift" from the MC, but in my game I have only seen Amy a couple of times before this happen, and for a short time. I have checked and there is no scene in the route that I follow where the MC gives away / hides / does anything for her to have the necklace. Nor any in which the MC does more than say hello before she appears with the necklace at the bar.

If the MC fucks her he gives it to her, on at least one of the branches where the MC doesn't give it to her she mentions having found it in some stuff he's left behind.

What I haven't seen is when it happens, the player has no clue about it until then. That happens temporarily during gameplay, and to me it's one thing you should know about before she shows up with the necklace and they start a conversation where the MC proves that he knows the necklace and has left it for her to find. It would be nice to have at least one sentence in which he indicates the moment when he decides to hide it.
In any case, I'm not interested in Amy, so, apart from the necklace, I don't think my MC will give her anything else, including sex (except what is mandatory, which I hope is little or, better, nothing)

Even if you went straight home instead of visiting Amy on day 2 and went to the café instead on day 3 you should still get a few lines of dialogue there where she mentions that she's found it among some things the MC left behind (presumably while doing work at the spa or hooking up with her some time previous to the beginning of the game). So the MC didn't give it to her on that path, she just found it among his belongings (Swim Fan much?):
You're right that their relationship could be clearer but that goes for practically every relationship in the game. The dev seems to have left a lot of things deliberately ambiguous for now, presumably in an attempt to build suspense.

When in most games, its a son banging his mom, his sister(s), his aunt(s), his neighbor(s), his female coworker(s), female classmates, female teachers, random female barrista/waitress/movie theater employee/jogger/gym employee and somehow then THAT MC is NOT an ass?????????

I had interpreted that the MC had left it there for her to find. Possibly a misinterpretation of the conversation.
