I must admit, I wasnt sure about this when it first popped up in the list of new games, but im glad i gave it a go, The art work is quite good, the first chapter is also enjoyable too, but it could have had a little more story about the DS, but them that could come in other chapters so its not an issues 
one thing i thought was a little bit odd, was the fact the MC got the room for free as long as she hyelped out but she was only ever asked to help that 1 time, But again same as the DS sstory this can be added in other chapters, All in All i will be keeping a good eye on this, hopefully it will keep going, and if thats the case i will sub on patreon to support the dev

Hey Waterthose, if you have a problem with indentation i'd like to suggest you to use Visual Studio Code with the Ren'Py Language Extension: it has a built-in check that signals any indentation with more or less than 4 spaces, and it can easily track the start and end of code blocks. Also it's free, so that's a huge plus
The other guy was right its based of Maple(story).
That's the thing I AM using VSC. There was no error there or in Lint/Renpy and it just broke my code by getting sent to the main menu on the jump. I figured it to be an indentation error after many trial and errors.

Sadly the DS (from source material stated above) actually never had a backstory and was mostly for comedic relief (well it was, until that completely retconned and they are now a "supportive figure"). So I don't have real plans on expanding her story as of now. For your other point she sees her daughter in you and being a mother figure she can't really help herself since her daughter has been away so she has no one to take care of. I understand that she think of the MC as a daughter so i can get that
As for the DS i think you would do well if you added so sort of back story for her, i understand that she was put in there for the comedic relief. but as you then turned her in to a main support role the back story of how she ended up desiding to join the MC and who she really is would be a good thing, That being said, as i said in the main post it can be done over time as a secondary quest as such where the MC wishes to find out who the DS is and why she is helping her

Mate this is looking pretty good so far.
As someone not at all familiar whith japanese Manga culture I find your intro a little confusing.
Maybe you could share a few more pics to help get a better idea of the vibe.
As suggested, I think you should get yourself one of those flashy dev badges.
Your posts will stick out a Lot more.

While isekai usually means being sent to another world.
So they are both pretty common terms.
