you are probably confusing the MC with yourselfThe main reason I remember dropping it was the MC got back to Earth and the story was just bad.
Why would he go back to school? It also spent too much time there, for me. It would have been nice to check
in with the family, talk his sister into going back with him, and then leaving. Seems like I remember the Earth part
just kept going for no particular reason. BUT then again...I am most certainly not the author and He/She def knows best!
Still a beautiful game
Cheers All
MC and his sister are very close to their parents. leaving them behind doesn't seem likely. MC misses his family constantly. he also likes his friends a lot. too big a heart, i'd say.
while you don't care about leaving them behind because you haven't spent a lifetime with them raising and taking care of your sorry blind ass on a daily basis...
don't refuse content. just let it happenPersonally I have never been against KN because it gives you a little relaxation and not to strain yourself when you have to choose someone or refuse content every time.
There are many games like kinetics and with choice and every developer has the right to create their own games.
actually, you can easily argue that if they want money from it, they should stick to their original vision. catering to all demands will just make a mess of a story. too many cooks in the kitchen. and always chasing trends and demands will just burn them out and they will end up abandoning the game. Not if they want to make money from it
yeah, MC has razor thing depth. he was blind and nice. now he is just nice.I agree with you, the main character feels a bit too nice and lacks depth beyond that trait.
I felt sorry for the new elf buddy whose sweetheart he steals ! Haha.
I also share your theory about Bridget, especially since she managed to deal with the three bullies on her own.
I suspect there’s a dark or sad story behind the mystery of Sibilla's mother. And yes, he didn’t do much to search for Agaressa or keep his promise to keep his own condition a secret.
I find that the relationships with the love interests vary in quality and sometimes develop a bit too quickly.
But overall, it’s still a pretty nice game, even if I find it hard to believe that anyone—villain or not—would wipe out entire peoples just to get their hands on one person.
I've been wondering whether there will be any relationship with the MC's adoptive mother, I have the impression that apart from some teasing, and since the father is still present this may not be possible.
You made me laugh with that trope about the father in AVNs, on the posts above, it's so true though x)
Arwen's and Rasu's story was a good chance to add tons of depth to MC, but instead it felt like the resolution of a kid's show drama. "i like her but..." "don't worry, let's all be friends now!" "ok, yay" the end
Turgon's obsession and actions also feel like a kid's show villain. and honestly, wiping a whole race to get immortality when you have to spend eternity in a world without the person you're obsessed about seems like a dumb choice. just evil for the sake of evil, without the consistency of the character's goal. we are still lacking some backstory, so this could change later.
MC being this nice and loving towards his family, nothing can really happen with his mother until his father is dead, unless his dad turns out to be Turgon's subordinate or something like that.
yeah, tht's a nice change, but unfortunately, it doesn't add anything to his character. it even makes to too simplistic.Funnily enough, with how many VN's go the route of MC parents dead, killed or just abandoning the MC at young age,i love that he has a loving family for once.
his aunt also said he has the same eyes as his bio mom, and Bridget has dark green eyes, like MCI share this sentiment about Bridget as well. At first I thought since MC is supposed to be searching for Agaressa then what would she look like? Surely she is very beautiful, so I thought what about the teachers or school nurse, but they don't look like they would fit this description. Then I seen the janitor and she has this look about her in the face and also very familiar with MC's life - she could be the one. Then she "took 3 garbage cans out" and I was suddenly very convinced.
she has the closest face to what an elf could look like, and she looks a bit like the aunt too.
and she gives him life lessons on how he should be, and what's right, etc.
the bio father isn't from another world, he was born in the fantasy world. humans existed in that world until the purge. changing world happened after Turgon went crazy and Agaressa fucked a human.what exactly is it you find usual about his real parents fate?
we don't know anything about the father's fate, except he fucked an elf from a different world
his mother, said elf from another world, is allegedly still alive and MC is currently looking for her in his home world
none of that seems usual to me
yeah, his father could be special. from what we gather he might have been some kind of hero, or was very courageous, super kind, and never behaved like a coward. at least, that's what I got from what Bridget tried to convey to MC on how to behave and if Turgon felt the need to wipe the whole human race, he might have been someone important. like a prince or a king, that every human would want to protect ?I get the idea, but I just don't agree with it. The father could align with this some and maybe enough, I admit, but there is too much unknown and also something mysteriously special about the father because it seems he gained the loving attention of a very respected elf woman from a different world. And the mother doesn't fit any "usual" fate I've seen either (and she has possibly already been in two scenes and likely we'll see more of her with more story to fill the holes).
The general idea that they are both out of the picture at the beginning of the game isn't enough for me to categorize it like that.
