Swordman just does nothing for me as a character. Being so single-minded isn't really that different from being simple-minded.

Saw the reviews wanted to try this game
can we pursue multiple Li at once? or one li on one playthrough?

The way it works is you can pursue, or reject, one/some/most/all of the LI's at once up to a certain point in the game. At that point you have to pick a branch where you only follow 1 LI's story, while the other LI's are relegated to normal story/game NPC's with no romance option.
However the dev has stated that once all LI's individual story lines are done they will be adding in a harem story line for those who want to go for that.
Note: You don't have to replay the whole game for each LI's story line. Just play once up to the pivotal choice, as the game will ask on all new start games whether you want to start at the start or at the choice - so you can either just save at the choice, or start a new game and select to start at the choice.

They all end in the same place, as thats until where the game is written (I believe to continue there has to be some "main story" thats not specific to a girl writen).
And Theresa has 0 because her Story is not in the game yet.

Here's some news about the progress of the next chapter.
I've been working mainly on the graphics and animation parts. Most of the animations are done, I just need to finalise a few things on this side. As for the graphics, I've done a large part, although there's still work to be done there.
At the moment, I'm working on the final scenes of this new chapter, and there are some very interesting things happening. That said, it's going to be a bit more difficult than usual, so we'll see how it goes.
Anyway, things are progressing and heading in the right direction.

Hello.
I hope everyone is fine?
I didn't think I'd be this late for the next update, but here we are. The reason is that I wanted to finish a specific part before giving any news, and well… I didn't think it would take so long...
So what's been going on? Well, I worked mainly on the graphics. I'm finally 90% finished. More importantly, the most difficult part is finally over. There’s still a few scene to work on, but it should be easy.
Next time, I'll probably have started on the editing part, which means we'll be close to the release.
In any case, thank you all for your patience. See you soon.

This was a huge hidden gem writing is on par with an anime honestly. At first I was put off by it but as it came together in around chapter 3-4 I was absolutely hook, line and sinker. Really love how it turned out
The only two things I regret is
A) picking Angie before anyone else to go forward with
& B) seeing Melopes route before doing Theresa's.
Would be my sage advice to do the order backwards for the LIs if you want to see them all cause whew man lol, that really impacted how I felt about stuff playing out like it did if you read comments before playing.
Example Theresa's clash with MC over Melope being arrested made me basically hate her as a character at that point. No alternative solutions, no smoke and mirrors and most of all BEHIND the saintess back?! Theresa dropped -100 for that one
Also it's funny people wanted the wimp trope meanwhile I'm here like man can we please have an OP MC the ordinary guy trope is done soooo much in anime (& I see it a lot in AVNs too) and well, it delivered and I think it was the best choice. MC still struggles seeing himself as anything but ordinary but I'm so glad it turned out the way it did. Would have dropped otherwise most likely.

What’s happening and my plan for the futur

So I think it's time I talked to you and explained how I'm doing and where the development of “How I became the bodyguard of the Saintess!” is standing.
I guess most of you have noticed that releases are taking longer and longer, with the one I'm currently working on being exceptionally late.
The answer probably won't surprise anyone; it's a very common problem among developers, and it can be summed up in three words: real-life issues.
First of all, I think it's important to be clear on one specific point: the game is not on hold, nor has it been canceled, nor anything of the sort. Right now, I'm editing the next release, which means I'm in the very last stage before the release of the next chapter in Angelica's story. Plus, there aren't many chapters left before the end, so there's no way I'm going to stop now that I'm so close to the finish line.
There's also the fact that I have another project in mind that I'd really like to share with you. So no, unfortunately, you're going to have to support me a little more. Probably a lot more, in fact.
But anyway, the release is late. And it's probably not going to get any better with the next ones coming after.
I mentioned problems in my personal life. More specifically a new job. I'm not going to go into the details of my private life, but I have a lot more work and my schedule is completely disrupted. Sometimes I work at night, sometimes very early in the morning, sometimes on weekends, etc.
And when I have a little free time to work on the game, I'm really tired, more than I would have imagined. The result is easy to guess: I spend much less time developing the game than I used to. There are still periods when I manage to make some progress, but it's not much.
My current job is temporary; that was always the plan. So it should change at some point. Unfortunately, that won't happen anytime soon.
Here we are. I should have mentioned this earlier, I suppose. The only excuse I can give is that I thought I could manage. Until I couldn't anymore. For now, I have no choice but to ask you to be patient. As I said earlier, the game is still progressing, but it's taking longer than expected.
I'd also like to thank everyone who has supported me so far. You guys are amazing, I couldn't have gotten this far without you. I'm sorry you have to wait so long, you don't deserve this. Unfortunately, there’s no other choice for now.

Bro he has like 17 paid members and is open about the slow development speed. Do you expect him to be a fulltime dev while earning like 70€/month?
In this case i would say the avn is awesome and we can be happy for anything we get

Secondly, and conversely - why should he get paid more if he hasn't done anything with the game for a year?
Youre funny, accusing me of the very same thing your doing lol, i never said that he should get paid more or that youre supposed to do that.
Im just saying, temper your expecations when a dev barely makes any money despite developing his avn for quite some time already and its not like it always was slow, there is a good amount of content in the game.
Im not a fan of developing two avns of the same time either but i cant blame him when his avn doesnt make any money and am happy if this avn gets finished even with slow development speed
