Yes, this game is the distant future set after Yushia/Aria's ending.
lol, timeline for this is kinda weird; since usually, you'd go 1st game > 2nd game > and so on.
Here they went
1st game[2014]=Floating City; 2nd installment, history wise
>2nd[2016]=Slave Empire; 3rd
> 3rd[2019]=Mag Kingdom; 1st of the series, timeline/history wise.
Note the years are pulled from the release date on DLsite.

Though, can see how development advances -- Aka city building > prostitution > Both-ish
And maybe history wise:
1. Kingdom in ruins; use prostitution to earn money to rebuild
2. Time advances and you're expanding
3. Disaster happens, thus have to prostitute again.

But personally, feel it woulda been better to keep the time flow organized:
1. Floating: Empire stagnated, thus starts fracturing.
2. Dark/Slave Empire: Disaster happens, thus introduces prostitution
3. Mag kingdom: New disaster in ruins again, thus use the method prior generation used to rebuild.

Edit: Though, like cipher said, it might be better to have Dark/Slave empire be first, thus establishing brothels as helpful and/or a way to earn money to rebuild the kingdom, leading to the other two.

EDIT: Okay yeah, went back and completed the gallery. Attached are the commonfile aka the gallery and a savefile where u can ng+ if you want. Wouldn't exactly say that the save is geared up for it but eh. Also I'm not going to 100% the achievements cause that's way too grindy.

Is anyone else having issues with the window size ? Going into Fullscreen mode shrinks the entire game into the top left corner for me.

I would have believed Dark Empire was the first since is feel older, has a very different and more limit style of play compared to the other 2.

It’s not a problem, this game has one of the most busted new game plus ever. Levels are reset (Miru returns to level 1) but they keep all stats they had. Nothing like having a lv 1 character with the stats of a lv 30.

Yeah and they even keep the bonuses they get from their bond events such as +growth rates. Thing is that I just kept exiting the stage and re-entering for half of them so they are pretty much their base levels. Also didn't hunt for weapons/upgrade them after awhile but yeah was able to handle almost all main story on hard with the save.

It’s what makes Aisha, Slime and Miru so deadly as they all have high growths and can get lots of levels.

It is optional yes, once again Miru recommends making a red light district for more tourists and money but it’s not required.

Having the same issue, guess i'm stuck with windowed unless someone has a fix.

Edit : added an image of what it looks like when fullscreen is turned on
Edit 2 : Not sure how, was playing with monitor settings and somehow it works now ? not sure what fixed it as i reverted all the changes i made (changing monitor refresh rate 144>60>144, turning off 2nd monitor then turning it back on
First time it worked, was when i turned off my primary monitor and turned on compatibilty to windows XP, it went fullscreen on the 2nd monitor properly, then when i turned back first monitor, it worked there too, with XP compatibility turned off too.
1st monitor is display port while 2nd monitor is HDMI, maybe an issue there ? but then it works on DP monitor properly afterwards, not sure what fixed it or what to think about it.

i dont know you can teach me how to build one
Kind of self evident from the previews, especially the first two.
Get Mega-tons of stone.
Build a city inside a castle's protective walls.
Make it float.

Pretty simple, right?

Kind of like Steve Martin's "How to make a million dollars, and never pay taxes".
First, get a million dollars...

It's still better than Dark Empire, that game looks and feels the oldest but Floating City is the first.
Was Dark empire ever translated? i tried the jp ver and characters seemed cute but it was impossible to actually progress past the bad events without understanding WTF you were doing.
