What I managed to figure out so far in battle.

On the top right there is auto for your leader(shift key) and pause(space) when you want to figure out what is going on in the moment, especially how those passive triggers work and so on.

Top left is your Active Skills if you have enough Mana.

Bottom left you have:
Tank Order that gives you a boost of Aggro for that character so that enemies are more likely to target.
I am not quite sure what the next one does, it might be an enemy target preference if you have ranged enemies/mages.
Equipment Roll if you have Spares you can change the equipment of that character in your party(similar to Inventory but for your party).
Healing I am also not sure, it might be related to Dying State of the character or it might be that you need a specific character/equipment/skill to use.

Inventory Left Click equips in Main Hand, Right Click for Offhand, or use consumables.
Bow needs Arrows in offhand to work.

When controlling the character move with WSAD, aim with the mouse and left click to attack.
Right click to use some defense abilities from shield, glove, boot.
Some passive can give you counterattacks on shield block or dodge(boot).
I am not sure how the AI uses the defense abilities and counter passives and how dodge is related to evasion.
If you hit multiple opponents that damage is distributed between them, so if you hit 3 you do 33% damage.

Once the LP of a character goes to 0 you enter a "Dying" state(can still move) and you can Recover by moving to an Ally that can heal you.
Once the Max LP goes down when in the Dying state and reaches 0 that character is out for good in that battle.

In the Team Composition menu:
First you can change the "Leader" you control by selection the first slot in the team.
You can have various "Loadouts" that you can script the behaviour with the top right button, but only the spares you can change in battle not the loadouts.
Skills and equipment costs Ability Points(AP) you can go in the negative but it impacts your stats so it's not ideal.

Yeah, I think there's a lot of people who were expecting just another wank game but encountered actual plot (not "plot") that takes dozens of hours of reading.

This really is more of a full scale visual novel than a typical nukige, which is what people usually encounter.

Some questions I have:
Has anyone manage to figure out what the various stats do? Maybe from the previous games?
Strength, Skill(which I think is considered Dexterity?) and Magic is obvious enough.
But Vitality, SPI?? and Agility I have no idea what they do.
Neither the Weapon Proficiency, better damage? faster attacks? critical?

Also does Gold can be used for anything other then Smithing?
Does the Brothel give Workforce in any way?
What does the "Visitors" do in the Kingdom menu?

I had no idea on the heal and mana order so thanks as for that.

I agree on skill being dex so ranged damage. I believe VIT is either bonus hp, max hp drain rate on being incapacitated or both. agility is movement speed, evasion and possibly crit too. SPI I'm guessing its a minor mana gain rate bonus or MDF since its a dominant stat on casters. For proficiency your guess is as good as mine there. Gold is also used for placing spiria orbs in equipment. Visitors does nothing at all I don't have the brothel in use and no rooms are built or anything and yet it tells me 648 are visiting the brothel and only 191 and 177 are merchants and tourists...

The story is pretty interesting and the characters all have their own motivations and personal goals. It feels like a softhousechara-lite game. The MC is as bland and empty as a VN could make one be, but honestly it's not THAT big a deal.

What it seems to halfass is the "romance" and sex scenes. It just seems to be tacked on, but that's not what I'm playing for.

Agreed. I'm pretty interested in the characters and the story after a few chapters and Bonding events which explore more of the characters. Game is just poorly advertised as something else, and we're just not used to Kagura releasing games like this. If you consider the romance to be canonically taking place after Act 2 it feels slightly less weird to have them fall for the MC in three events. Some parts unfortunately require some imagination on the part of the player, like the MCs personality. It's pretty easy to imagine what the MC would realistically say in most situations if he had proper dialogue if you're used to playing DnD campaigns or have experience with games like Etrian Odyssey.

They really should've just given the MC a proper character though.

H content is also at least varied for the people interested, and I assume the access to it is quick intentionally so those folks can just beat their meat and end their game if they want to. Feels tacked on and the devs wanted to make a non H game instead, but like most VNs back in the day added porn content because it is expected of them.

Don't care much for the H content anymore, but I certainly do wish I got Ariadne with short hair after the hair cutting event to show up in the CGs

Dex I believe is range damage not weapon speed.

That doesn't make much sense since LP is already a things that also increases.
Defence is also there for damage reduction, maybe it's percent based?
Maybe it's Range Defense so that Str, Skill, Mag maps to Def, Vit, Spi? That still makes little sense.

The H Events aren't even bad, just rushed and badly paced.
If they locked them behind a bit of granding and chapters it would be better but that would mean not using the brothel immediately.

Yeah, but when I manually whored out the girls I just carefully took notice what the customer was asking for, and when it was sex, anal etc. I just sent the bouncers after them, because for the first few chapters my brothel was strictly blowjobs and such only. Again, requires some creativity on the part of the player, but it's not too difficult to create a believable canon.

The brothel part is really whack and out of place. I mean if take the brothel part out the game stories still complete in both main and brances, and the game can be cleared without opening the brothel even once. I guess they put in brothel just for that the game not to be taken too seriously.

I get what they were going for but there a few things that worked against them.
The focuses on quantity in terms of character rooster so that necessitates a few scenes per character, sharing them between romance and brothel further limits it.
And the bigger problem is there is not much point for Gold, the main Progression Resource is Workforce and Bonding Events, not Gold. There is no Items to buy, no Units to hire.
I think if the Brothel was more of a Requirement that you need people would have enjoyed it for what it is.
