This game is fucking terrible. why is the MC such a soy boy pussified simpimg little cunt? he's pathetic. why cant we tell these people to go fuck themselves at every opportunity? he doesn't even try to escape and get back to that portal, despite multiple opportunities.
Why is he just going along with everything? where's the option to say 'go fuck yourselves, I will NOT comply'? I barely managed to get through the introduction due to the utter lack of choices. I got into chapter 1 when your doing that test thing, I wake up with the main bitch, and he soy boys out and starts calling her 'mistress' on his own, and you have no option to not do this.
WHY???
That moment was it for me, I couldn't go any further. I quit and deleted the game. The writing is abysmal. why are you buddy buddy with the people who abducted you literally the day before? the people who left your mother alone. She comes home one day and you have just vanished, and she spends the rest of her life in pain and suffering, wondering why her son abandoned her . . .
They did that to her, and they don't give a fuck. The ends do not justify the means, these people are absolutely the bad guys.
Where are the choices to not comply and try to get home?
when that Liu bird shows up in the middle of the night, option 2 is 'oh no, I don't know you well enough, lets go on a date'. WTF?
Where's the option 'punch her in the throat, and force her to take you to the portal room'?
When you're getting your agent ID card, where's the option 'I don't need it, I wont be here long enough to use it'?
When your introduced to Daisy, option one - compliment, option 2 - polite. where's option 3 - ignore her?
At one point, the MC thinks to himself 'these people aren't too bad, they're just regular guys'. NO, these people are the bad guys. they destroyed the fucking planet, wiped out billions of people, and now have abducted you to save their arse, whether you want to or not. they are NOT good people! Why does the MC think this is just a fun, jaunty little adventure through time?
And the most annoying thing is it could all be fixed with a simple addition.
When you first meet the president, she sends her assistant and bodyguard out of the room!! It's just you and her!! why aren't you jumping over the table to strangle this bitch, 'send me home or I will fucking kill you'. and then Kate from Lost comes in, smashes you on the side of the head, and you wake up with a shock collar round your neck.
Now you are FORCED to go along with all this shit. don't comply, get shocked. talk back, get shocked. try to escape - if you go near the portal it will render you unconscious unless its set to stand by mode. Now you have another sub plot of how to get this thing off you, or find a way to disable it, all the while seemingly complying.
Such a shame too because the renders and models are really good, the setting and plot are really interesting, it's just let down by poor writing, and a lack of any real choices.
