Idk if the dev reads around here but I wanted to give my two cents. Will review after some more updates.
Overall I think this game is great. Very pretty, not overly wordy but not mindless either. Good middle ground I'd say.
The renders are super great, you can tell that they know how to shoot and pose shit. It's really beautiful.
Girls are beautiful as fuck and even the guys are very well done and distinct.
So I tried to play this by answering how I would in a situation where a bunch of crazy people enter my house and try to fucking kidnap my ass, right? So I resisted every opportunity I had, didnt try to relate or help Cathy nor her brother, because I couldnt trust them and of fucking course didnt want nothing with the President bullshit because she is insane lol. By doing this I probably missed 70% of the available scenes in the game right now but I kind of like that I could do it. And my relationship with Octavia is very "real". She and MC say exactly what I think they would/should say in a situation like this, it's very well writen and interesting.
Sadly Octavia seems to be the only character with this kind of depth. It seems to me that the dev didnt think anyone would choose not to engage with Cathy ( i mean, she's pretty as fuck) but from the get go I tried to pick options to remain neutral or show her that she didn't have my trust yet. And after playing some more I discovered that she's actually immensely boring as a character. Dear god why? I refused this girl every step of the way and she still acts like she's in love or something. And somethings MC says some dumb lovey shit towards her too, even though I don't really want to pursue her.
The other wet fart is Octavia's asian dog. Not much to say about that one but I wouldnt miss her if she disappeared.
Other girls are great for now. Chloe is best girl hands down.
And hey Dev, if you're reading this, I dont mean to offend alright? Like I said, this game is great! Cathy is probably my only problem, right now. My suggestion would be to add an alternative scene to that event where Cathy invites you to her secret spot...maybe she notices your distrust and calls you there to clean things up? And then after some talk you could leave her sleeping alone or something. And then some dialog to reflect that afterwards, anything to make her back down a little, really.
