I never said it was your fault. On the other hand, I said :
  • It is possible to heal yourself between fights using food and drinks.
  • You can find an NPC (Lin) who uses a lab to create potions that can heal you, increase your strength, increase your defense, or cure the knockout. The lab needs to be improved.
  • At the beginning of the game, there are a large number of resources in the base, it's up to you whether you prefer to use it to create equipment to go into battle or use it to build Elizabeth's room.
  • You can have as much equipment as you want in your inventory. If there is 1 that breaks during the fight, you can replace it by choosing the last option from the battle menu.
  • You have a one in five chance of making noise and getting attacked by a zombie (unless you use any cheating program, it will reverse the %).
  • You can collect water from the river with the bucket that Kate shows you at the beginning of the game, then you have to sterilize it with the campfire. In the "additional construction" section, it is possible to modify the bucket to a pump to collect more water and this can be improved to get more and decrease the harvesting time.
  • Areas with more powerful zombies give more during harvest.
  • Kate's workshop can be upgraded to get more or more powerful equipment.
  • Wearing multiple pieces of defense equipment decreases the likelihood of losing them quickly. 1 random piece of equipment loses 1 durability per hit. In addition, each increases your defense. The lvl2 equipment makes you invulnerable against R1 zombies. The same goes for lvl3 and R2 zombies.
  • You can make repair kits at Kate's workshop to repair equipment.
  • You have 3 NPCs to find who join the fight with you. You just have to search in the important places to find them.
  • There are 4 firearms to find (1/ fighter). They give a big advantage in combat but consume ammunition.
  • Sophia (one of the fighters) allows you to unlock another workshop to make items to throw during the fights (you have to follow her walkthrough). In this room, it is possible to make ammunition for firearms.
  • Jessie can grow vegetables that are salvageable every day around noon. Just follow her walkthrough. In addition, she gives you a side quest by asking you to find bags of soil. Each bag allows you to add 2 foods per day.
  • The "To do" is used to know how the game works. It's the introduction. This may be supplemented by adding additional tasks if you can't find either NPC after a certain number of days.
  • NPC walkthroughs unlock new rooms in the base and gain new perks. They also unblock sexual content (when it's available). All sandbox RPGs work with a quest system. I can name several very well-known ones that have just been released.
  • You can move the zombies by making them run after you and then go get the crops. Warning: the zombies will walk without stopping to return to the place where they were before running after you. They don't see you if you're behind their backs.
  • There are also opportunities to obtain resources without the risk of fighting. Exemple : Backpacks in the 0 DANGER region and 1 NPC who goes to get them in V0.18.
  • If there are important places indicated on the map, it's because you have to explore them and the NPCs to find are there. There are also other important items that can be found there.
  • To find out which NPC has content, you can check in the changelog (or look in my pages for members). I indicate each time when I add an NPC or if I add content for one or the other NPC.
I think that's quite a few solutions in the game that can solve the problems you just mentioned. And it's not over because there are still other NPCs that need to be added, there will be 2 more bases (to visit), other bonuses that need to be added (example: modify tools to reduce the harvesting time or more), a fast travel system, and much more.

I think I have answered everything. All of this is in the game and the explanations are given every time you unlock something. You can also find all this on the GameFaq. If you need more explanations or if I forgot something, you can always ask your questions ;)

Sorry, but that is bullshit!

If you get attacket twice in the first days you are dead! So if you search for any things and "meet" a zombie, you have to fight. If you cut trees and "make too much noise" you have to fight... and so on and so on. It's boring and demotivation if you don't get any progress in the first days. This game really looks promising, but when you have to start over and over again - you put it in the waste bin!

  • You can avoid fights by running.
  • You heal yourself by eating and drinking what's in your inventory.
  • You make and equip better equipments.
  • You find the 3 NPCs who can fight with you.
There is a 1 in 5 chance of making noise and there are other ways to find resources as well.

first day are tough, but later you have to get too much water and good (easy to get if you follow quest), just get tedious.
Some girls do things like workshop or laboratory... even church bussinnes, but there is other dont do shit... (not include cop and military because i used them as companion).

Is hard to find something in map... is kind "not friendly" i cant find the lost girl (aka zombie 2, already get paper and found the other clue)

This have been the problem for one year with the exact same answer from the dev, later is "easy" to have food, but the beginning is really a pain in the ass (where most of players abandon the game), what advice i can give is use cheat and add fucking ton of food or change your stats to one hit kill.

Here is the food to harvest in the regions. There are at least 10 food gathering points per region (because some regions have more) and there are + 70 explorable regions (in this version) so that's + 800 food gathering points. On the base region, there are +or- 50 gathering points. Not to mention that gathering points can yield between 1 and 6 foods.

But there is also the seed system to find and use in the field. As well as Jessie, the farmer, who offers a side quest to earn food points every day.

And each food can heal HP if you consume it in the inventory.

Where is the food problem?

There is a with the complete list of items to collect with their image.

Food heal little, you example you need 10 berries to heal you to the max 100hp that we have, if you fight 2-3 zombies and those in every fight almost kill you, we need a lot more than that, we can heal with other things (orange, etc) but they are not abundant and i cannot find the "+or- 50 gathering points on the base" just a few points there, and we still have the "upkeep" of characters, so even less food to heal.
And if the game still random with the zombie spawn (when you search) if you have shit luck that every search there is a zombie, you are fucked.
I'm not saying that late game this is a problem, but early is horrible, even more in more populate areas, when you search the zombies can get you becase searching for food take time.

You can change region and go to one where there are fewer zombies. With 70+ regions, you can choose which ones you want to harvest resources from and gathering food doesn't attract zombies. The next day, this region may be less crowded and you will get the food from it. In addition, looking for regions less filled with zombies, you can come across regions with 0 DANGER and find a bag with resources (= 0 battle).

There is a staircase above the base with a few zombies and a lot of resources. With R2 equipments, you're invinsible against R1 zombies

You can also run and lure all the zombies to a corner of the region, they will walk back to their place.

For the consumption of food, I remind you once again that there is also the field to grow vegetables and Jessie's side quest.

PS : For 1€, you can get the next version with the new NPC who will look for resources for you. Otherwise, you can donate more and have access to the latest version where the food harvest time has been reduced (and a new method of getting masturbate by Jeanne ;) ).

Full save

+ If I can give an advice : the recolt part is too long. For water is good because it forced the player to upgrade things. But collecting wood and stone is too long.
(I don't understand the point of "asking" too much resource without any rewards and force people to edit save to enjoy better the game ...)

they really need to make the manufacturing of items just a straight up store. it's a pain to navigate and wait for the box pop-ups and when i get impatient i accidentally press on the wrong icon and i have to press back to start all over again. this multiplies when making multiple items like weapons and armor.

? There is no waiting time. If you have lags, you have to see if your computer is powerful enough to run the game.

All you have to do is recruit her and follow her quests to unlock the warehouse.

Dear dev,as much as you are trying to help people with additional tips,i would suggest adding an "cheat" item because the begining of this game is way too punishing for "fappy" game as this.I absouletly assure you that people play this game to have a quick "fap/shlick" and not really taking interest in the gameplay this game has.

A Struggle With Sin is kind of a grindy RPGM game with some mechanics purposly making the game harder(duh lol),but dev was kind enough to include a "cheat book" item optionally so as making people have their "nut" in a way less grindy and frustating.

The sequence break with Lin and the Kitchen for 2nd house is still in place. You have the option to build the potion lab from the start of the game and it even tells you it's for Lin even before you meet her. It feels like it should be similar to Sophie and the kitchen of the 3rd house. Where the build option is blocked until you talk to the character after recruitment.

The toilet in the south bathroom of the large house to the Northwest still blocks the path to the loot point in the bath tub. It sparkles out of reach mocking us.

A possible QOL improvement is to speed up or skip the screen blackout when fetching water. It plays the sounds for a good 15-20 seconds with the bucket and 5-7 seconds with the pump upgrade. Clock can still progress, but if you can speed up the downtime that would be great.

The workshop interface is clunky and button prompts are not consistent. Example: When looking at Rank 1 weapons if you have enough upgrades the 'Cancel' button will trigger the option to build the shield instead of backing out of the menu which it does at all other places.

It's been a while, but maybe replace the workshop with a standard shop interface. I know I've seen RPGM games with shops that can use alternative currency in menus for cooking and crafting. One possible drawback is you wouldn't be able to 'upgrade existing', but that can be fixed by just selling back your current items for the resources back. If you want to avoid people selling and rebuying their gear to bypass repair and durability just make the sell/recycle a partial amount. It annoying to try and upgrade an item and get kicked out of the menu because you no longer have one.

Another QOL improvement would be to change the materials and seeds from items to just variable counters. They clutter the inventory and you can't really do anything with them. While you can see a count of how much you have in your inventory, you can also see it when you look at your book which makes the item clutter messy.

You can't remove weapons. You can replace them, but if you don't have a replacement the character can't remove it from being equipped like other gear.

Still a pet peeve you can't talk to Katie from directly south in the living room. It even looks like a shop counter, but you can't initiate a conversation from across it.

Might be interesting to have an action counter running in the background and a skill progression to show your survival skills. This would increase each time you do an action and after a certain point you 'level up' in that skill to get better. This will also be a soft explanation for some of the mechanics of the game that are left unexplained.

Example: Foraging skill. Levels up when you collect fruit from trees or mushrooms from the ground. This subtly hints that those are collectables and not just set dressing since there is a skill related to that action. At certain threshold the collecting is faster (sound cue played 1 less time to a minimum of once) and you get a slight bonus to amount collected. Fishing for when you're collecting fish which could make collecting fasters, possibly get better fish (small, medium, large), and maybe unlock the ability to use a net to catch fish faster. Lumbering to chop down trees faster, quieter, and more efficiently. Mining to collect from rocks faster, quieter, and possibly find metal in rocks. Combat which is leveled by killing zombies and gives a passive attack and defense bonus every level.

It would be a system that deviates from making more lewd content, but skill level go up makes the monkey parts of the brain happy.
