You need to read the conversations with the characters, especially when they explain how the game works and where to find the axe and the pickaxe.

I decided to give this game another shot, and surprisingly it clicked this time around. I didn't seem to be wandering around as aimlessly as in previous attempts to play this. That being said, I think there are still some pretty glaring issues. This game is still a grindfest and pretty much forced me to cheat and give myself 9999 of all the materials because otherwise I would be spending a ridiculous amount of time hunting around for them. The only thing I could possibly think of to fix this would be to either increase the amount of materials you gather or reduce the amount of materials needed to build things. Or both.

My other issue is the lack of porn content, or at least the lack of it early on. I played for a few hours, and I had Ann, Kate, Elisabeth, Sophia, Lin, and Jessie, and the only real porn content was with Ann. Now I like the stuff with Ann; in fact, I think this game should have more content with other zombie girls, but the fact that the only thing you can do with Kate and Elisabeth is peek at them in the shower is crazy. Adding some content with them and making it accessible early on would also probably soften the grind. I know the girls I mentioned are all the girls, but they are the ones you find early in the game and are the ones who have the content, so you want to keep playing.
