when I see scat or feet scene I simply skip it, does NTR really bother people on such an emotional level they stop playing the game? I am really asking because I see a lot of fighting and people get mad and I'm like "dude... it's a game, not every scene is gonna be for you". I need a lot of incest in my games, if I see a game without incest option (maybe through mods even) then I might not play it. that's the closest understanding I have to the NTR tag, but I won't attack or shame anyone, or freak out because a few characters aren't family related. I also enjoy Loli but rule 7 makes most games on the site not for me, again, you just enjoy what you can.
this sharing/harem war is so weird, the only reason I even want NTR in games is because it adds more options. hell without rule 7 we would have even more options but there's nothing you can do about that. if TK8000 gets most of his income from people who really hate NTR then there's nothing I can do. I can't decide for him, I can only advice him on a sweet spot, as in choices of both NTR and non sharing. but that will take more work. ofc I will be happy if the next game will have NTR because the current one does not have it, so it's like each "community" gets a game for their tastes. but you won't see me fighting over it and getting mad with other people because the game isn't 100% what I wanted it to be :/
So far it hasn't happened yet but the topic of NTR is a ticking time bomb, but to try to answer your question at least to some degree. most of the whole NTR vs no-NTR wars are pointless or stupid. Take the xxxNTRxxx tilted game with the "is the NTR avoidable" guy, then "oh I hate NTR why does this exist". what are they even doing in the form in the first place?
On another side you have either a vanilla game, or one that clams to be "NTR free" that suddenly has NTR. Now I can understand why people would be unhappy. Then you have the NTR fans with "get over it, Its just a game, your insecure, you must be a virgin, etc" and while some may not see it that way it is kink shaming in my opinion. vanilla is in since a kink of its own (is vanilla icecream not a flavor because most would consider it plain?)
ultimately I think the biggest issue is entitlement. We all have a right to our own opinions. It doesn't mean others have to agree with them, or in some cases it should be stated in the first place. weather a game can or should have NTR depends on how the dev handles it, the player base, and to a degree luck. Me personally I am ok with NTR in the game as long as its avoidable, and how it is handled. Now F95s version of NTR is only one of the many types and funny enough swinging, sharing "Netorase" isn't NTR by its definition, and Netori "you play as the one doing the stealing" isn't either
