Ye, Steam reviews are cancer--memes and wannabe influencers generating formulaic review templates. I'm sure there are good, substantial reviews somewhere in there, but they'll be drowned out by idiots and their spam-tier, overused meme reviews.

'Upvote' systems ruin the integrity of any review system by encouraging pandering and the uniformity of expression. Quality has an inverse relation to popularity. Didn't even bother with a Steam review.
Amen and Awoman to that.
You can say that about any somewhat popular review system.

Hitachi is BIS. Get one of those on a chick with 100% passion and you'll get 5k in no time. Get them on all girls and it's easy. Pair with butt plug and lube if you want but just hard grinding the 8 isn't so bad.
That one took me a bit, ngl being a guy, I'm unfamiliar to female sex toys, so I was unaware of the "massager" being a hitachi. Thx, got it on a few but man if it ain't annoying to keep clicking through nap (which isn't far off from my "depression baggage" irl... too real?)

Edit: WTF i've been farming for like an hour now and no wand in the shops, not even one

I agree, but steam reviews still have their place. I trust steam reviews more than website game "journalists" for example. But Huniepop 2's 95% is surprising and odd to say the least. I keep wondering if I'm playing the same game as everybody else. No way this game deserves an overwhelming positive score. If this was a big publisher release, I would just assume it was a bunch of paid shills gaming the system, but that obviously isn't the case here. I got to just assume it's a bunch of fanbois upvoting the game on release. It will be interesting to watch if the score holds or goes down over time.

I refuse to cheat due to chad gamer blood, any tips for the End Boss Marathon?
I finally beat them on my 5th try. With only one move left! I mixed my toys to be ready for baggage limitations. Tough game and I enjoyed it that way. Too many easy games here. Now I am trying to figure out how to use the wardrobe codes... (And found it by exiting the game and rebooting to the opening menu.)

So... I feel like a bit of an idiot and need help.

I keep getting this message 'Failed to load mono' whenever I try to play this game. I read somewhere you need to try to download the game again, so I have tried with every single link for this game but I keep getting the same message... anyone know anything that could help?

I was kinda looking forward to playing this after finishing the first game, especially because I actually think its a good timewaster. But man...hearing these reviews make me not even wanna play it.

Hey man if you're in it just to have something to occupy yourself and not for like, the porn or anything in specific, then it could still be ejoyable. Hell I had a blast just laughing at the game some of the time. Like how I had to literally put post it notes over Lillian's hair in the Bat Wing costume because it was so awful it was distracting me.

It's definitely a bunch of fanboys that left positive reviews on release. Tons of meme-views and "I go nuts". If you look at the negative reviews there's a lot of people going in-depth on how rushed or awful the combination of new mechanics is. I came back to this forum just to cop a full save cause I can't be bothered to keep playing when it feels like an absolute chore to go on these dates. (I'm on the easiest mode too.)

(DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT DOWNPLAYING ANYONE'S REVIEW AND I AM NOT ATTACKING PEOPLE WHO REVIEW THE GAME AND IF IT SEEMS THAT WAY I WILL APOLOGISE. THIS IS MY OPINION ON THE WHOLE REVIEW THING IN GENERRAL)

So, I am seeing people review the game here and on Steam, the former saying it's disappointing and the latter saying it's a gift from God. The problem I have with this is that it's only been 3-4 days. I don't think that's enough time to be able to review a game, especially since it's on the 10 hour range. You should let the game sink in, let a few days pass and pick it up again. Some people would propably change their mind (find something bad or good abou the game). And that should be applied in general. In every game.

Also, I see some people comparing HP2 to other porn games. I don't think we should compare them. HP2 is a genre of its own, i think.

All in all, this is my opinion on the matter.

I played it for 12 hours upon release and then reviewed it, and the only thing waiting 3-4 days has done is underscored how much I don't really want to play it again.

Understandable, I said there would be a possibility of changing your mind, not that it would happen or that it sshould happen. And of course, the same can be said about the people that enjoyed the game. Maybe they will find something they don't like about it.

5 years ago I played Huniepop for the first time. It was because I get an ad from Nutaku of a game named "Pussy saga". Really mediocre, but I liked the game mechanics, so, I searched for a similar game. It seems like the Pussy saga game was a parody from Huniepop, so I get the first Hunie and play it. The game was so good on the mechanics and so funny on the dating sim part that I found myself playing it for 2 weeks non-stop. I liked the girls, liked the dialogues, liked the music, liked the art, liked everything from the game. I got the 100% of the game almost 3 times and enjoyed every single time I played it.

Why I ever want to play a game that makes that Pussy saga game feels like a better game? Huniepop 2 can't reach any of the standards of the first game. I forced myself to play it 4 hours just to realize that I wasn't getting any fun or any arousal.
If I want to play a match-3 game only, I just play Candy crush, and it seems like there's people who really need to play some Candy crush, because they say Huniepop 2 is good just because the puzzle is fun...

Since they might keep updating, I don't think this thread should have FINAL in it's title
Well, it is a final and stable release. Most games on Patreon are works in progress, denoted by version numbers. While HuniePop 2 also has a version number, it's probably 1.0.0, denoting it as a completed game. Any new versions will most likely contain only bug fixes, balancing and QoL additions.

DLCs that get released after this are separate entities and will also get added to the thread, but they do not usually denote a new version.

This game would've been so much better if they took the Assassin's Creed approach, where they slightly tweak the gameplay but introduce an entirely new set of characters that had nothing to do with the previous one. Some of the new mechanics here are definitely interesting but the threesome concept did absolutely nothing for me, especially because there was no build up and it did not feel like you actually had to form a bond before you got to fuck. Some people are saying that the characters here are not as good/interesting as the first one and I disagree, I just think that because there was no one-on-one time there was no real incentive to learn anything about them which again goes back to the threesome concept being detriment.
