Invite James Campbell (the IT salesman) to the party (it helps to remind him of the invitation a second time). Marco will notice James during the party and MC will encourage Marco to go for it.

Then, when Marco and James have gone, go to the toilet.

You need to load an older save file, there's no way to make money other than doing shoots, and if you can't afford to pay for even your most basic shoot, you're screwed.

Just use a save editor like

or cheat engine.

Also You can repeat office work indefinitely to raise your reputation, so each shoot will give you much more money. (Not sure if they plan to patching this tho)

Buy only what is required in the quests. You don't need to buy better equipment at the beginning of the game.

I found out that the amount of money you can earn from photo shoots is random.

You can save after planning your shoot to reload until you get the money bonus.
