In general these updates didn't add any significant content.
I'd personally recommend to just wait until they announce a big update and not waste your time with just 1 new NPC.

Mega won't lock you out, you just can't download more than 5Gb per 24 hours. If a file is over 5 Gb you have to "wait" until you can resume your download.

That is a lock out, though I guess I should have clarified.

Came back to see if the game made any QOL changes or gameplay changes in general for a better player experience. Nothing really changed. First island is all I've played still because I do not have the patience to kill time just running across a giant map with little to no content for most of the island. It's still boring and frustrating to travel for an hour just to see a few things. The island mapping quest is still a thing with its ludicrous "exploration" of the island to fuck off far sides of the still mostly empty island.
The reward for any exploration of the island is not worth the travel time.
This needs to be fixed because this is this biggest turn off for playing the game. This isn't a hardcore survival game, put a damn fast travel system in! Whether that be something like Skyrim map fast travel or some physical waypoints dotting the land to use.
Otherwise this game will remain not fun to play.

Imagine Sea of Thieves, but with slavery and furries. Or Sailwind, but with slavery, and furries. Or Elite: Dangerous, but like, with boats. And slavery. And furries!

Sea of Thieves may have its slow moments, but at least it can still be fun.

No much has improved in this build. Sailing minigame gets boring after 5 minutes. Some new NPCs look good, but pointless when you can't have sex with them. The major updates being worked on in dev blog didn't make it to this build yet, so we have just to look forward for spring build. Unfortunately, it's quite common fail upon porn game developers that they become game developers in their minds focusing on non porn related game elements and maps, forgetting that it is not what users are interested in.

There is a strange bug in current build that reset my dialog and quest progress with ship crew saved in prev build. I don't have time for grinding quest again so I've added option to set ship quest done in my mod file.
If you have my "I don't have time for this" mod installed already, just replace attached file. Then there is the quest skip option added to the follower dialog, so then you can just ask Wheel mate to start the sailing minigame.

There are more quests, islands, races... but still no final tage on the animations... so yea... if you can live without that just try it.

There are more than a dozen Full acts (fully animated scenes) with final stages that you can get by fulfilling quests and talking to NPCs.

The island is still a pain to travel around because there still isn't a fast travel mechanic and still hardly anything worth running around the big island for.
Until island exploration isn't a boring extended chore, it's not worth unless you can stomach that.
