So does the Steam Ver. have more stuff missing like for example the opening scene that the DL site one has.

There is a demo version, and there is a full version, which is also a demo version but with proper "bad endings", the full version is the next game that dev is still developing.
Dev promoted about 3 endings, but it was a lie, it was 1 ending (goblin) and 1 ending with 2 separate cut screen.

Is the steam game the full game or a demo version like what Lathius said above? Is it worth buying?

I own it but I've never played, as far as I know, this isn't complete and probably the reason it's being removed from sale.
With that said, the game is at 50% right now, so if there's some ocllectors out there who want to have the game on steam, this is probably the cheapest it's gonna get.
EDIT: After checking the claims that this is a DEMO, technically yes but in reality no.

I'm mean, I read previous comments it's say it's just demo, what i mean is. it's is still under development?.
Read a few posts up, the TLDR is that this is a completed game which may or may not be included as a prologue in their next game that's in development.

This game is finished, and the game that following this game, with same character, same story, likely same name, will likely out ... next year, maybe...
