Would be nice if in one of the endings MC brainwashes girls to bring more girls to his harem.

i would be just glad if we get an actual badass/selfish route, but right from the start, not a sociopath MC or MC going for pure enslavement of the girls, but more "i don't like [name of a very specific personality-trait] that [name of a character has] let me brainwash her so that i will change such thing"

Some of you may say: "MC already does that" and while i agree, that is regardless of your route, it happens anyway, so i want the badass route to double down on that kind of stuff, i don't ask for a whole badass ending with multiple versions of every currently-existing endings, just more dialogues that feel more badass-route, rather than generic stuff that both routes have

But I did not like when girls decided to break up when MC revealed that he banged some other girls - like the neighbor - and so on. C'mon man, you have a clock - brainwash them all.

2- While i agree with you, like i said above, for me it's not about having a harem that includes half of the town, but rather the control over someone, i don't mind consequences but yeah, with the brainwashing options i have in mind, the problem of "consequences for fucking outside the harem", it wouldn't even exist, just like you said.

Exactly, we have already so many characters, that having more of them and also having them have sex with MC, feels too much, i don't mind occasional "nameless" NPCs, but we already have too many girls in the main harem, and it feels hard to imagine the day-to-day life of MC as the only male in a harem:he almost has a girl for everyday of the week(the main harem is made of: Ashley, Lea, Jenn, Haily and Laura), plus Ashley's mom, brittany and rachel.

I think the dev is worried that if they lean too much more into the mind control aspect, Patreon will ban them. A lot of mind control gets called rape which Patreon would act upon. This is why the dev seems to bend over backwards to make everything sound consensual. The cashier at the mall for example -- MC insists that he just asked her to consider it and didn't make her. Same with all of the other LIs. E.g., If you let the MC get caught with Aera, he uses some word play the next time he sees Leah to make her 'okay' with him kissing her instead of just outright directing her.

There's also the consideration that the dev created the game with a focus on breast expansion and then stumbled into another kink that turned out to be somewhat more popular. It would be great if someone created a game inspired by this one and actually focused on mind control, but they would run into the same Patreon issues.

i actually don't even like most of the girls.
to me it would be perfect if there was only leah, ashley, grace and laura.
i'm fine with aera and brittany joining only if we could BE and hypno them to subtly alter mind.

In theory, you can turn down relationships with anyone except Leah and Ashley. I've not replayed that path to see if it's still viable in ages, and it was never one I focused on, but being selective about who you picked up used to be an option.

I don't hate Grace, i just genuinely forgot her because while writing the comment i was also doing other things(mostly going through the boring parts of another VN), so not mentioning her is not my way to express dislike, is just a genuine mistake, considering that i like her too.

While Aera has yet to earn a place in the main harem and Daphne needs to be more physically present after the pool-party(like actually live in MC's town), so in my opinion it's too early to include them in the main harem/consider them part of the main group.

My point still remains, despite everything, despite the decent quality of the writing, i still think there are too many characters, and not enough hypnosis and i wish for a more radical badass/selfish route.

Okay, so I just finished v1.5.0; the version I played previous was v1.2, i.e. where the game stopped shortly after you trying to hypnotise all 5 main girls in the gym but then Laura coming in and fucking it up. In that build, the Broken Watch ending was complete.

This new version, which continues the main story, is much more satisfying than the Broken Watch ending, because the mind control elements + Laura's redemption + incorporation of side girls + pregnancy are being handled better, with better writing. I'm definitely enjoying the direction we're heading in (I'm 100% on the good guy path for my canon run now). But the sex scenes are still poorly animated and framed, the render quality hasn't substantially improved, and the size of the update is meager in comparison to the amount of time we've been waiting.

Yeah, this isn't a game that you should follow closely. The dev seems like a nice guy but he's a perfectionist and works ridiculously slowly. He's currently working on an update for his other game that's several months in and likely won't see for another couple of months. Based on his track record, I suspect it'll be the end of the year before you see anything else for Hypnosis.
