Kinda reminds me of those 1990's Chia pet games where you had to take care of the pet as if was real or it would die.
Have heard it was a pain in the ass to recover them.

I remember trying it when i was a child when they we're new and couldn't figure out how to play it.

As it appears there are different endings,and it seems like you get ending at day 12.

Never mind i don't understand, after the 12 day and getting ending 2 ,I thought that it's freeplay but then slime got even bigger
