I remember ragging on the unity version of this game, with less pixels at that. I'm happy that it's now cleaner renders, no pixelation, and in renpy. Keep going dev, I liked the game so far. The 80's feel made it immersive.
They are both adopted . Sister with a rich , mc with a single woman.

I'm playing the game for the first time. What's the incestuous relationship between Clarissa and MC? What should I call her in the game? Sister, stepsister or adoptive sister?

It's up to you depending on whatever makes most sense to you. My opinion is that "childhood friends" feels the most authentic in this narrative. If you really want incest, then cousins will probably make the most sense. Brother/sister or step-siblings doesn't fit quite as well with some of the dialogue in this game, and boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't really work at all. But go with whatever you like.
Just to clarify, that was how the optional incest was presented in the unity game, but that was not established in this game. This is a reboot not a port, and Clarissa's backstory was one of many things that were done quite differently this time around.
Yeah, I agree that incest doesn't fit as well as childhood friends, but the incest tag is accurate because an incest option exists. That's the requirement for the tag. Also apparently the policy is that even if it's a fan-made patch then so long as that unofficial patch is maintained, the mods will tag the vn as incest even if the game itself isn't meant to have incest. I've known some devs frustrated with this since they won't remove the tag in some cases even if the dev himself asks for it, but it is what it is.

Finished the remake, the remake's scene transitions are kind of weird that like point to point without the explore, seems the developer just used what remains in the original game and simply put it into the remake. 
Moreover, even though it has the setting of incest, it is so weak that only just a sentence at the beginning without changing any content, which is kind of lazy if you choose the relationship into sis-bro but no extra content afterward.

Just wanted to say — I absolutely love the game! Seriously, the storytelling, the characters, the tension… it's all so well done. You can really feel the care and passion that went into this.

I’m currently working on patch v0.7.2, which will include:
-Fixes some bugs with menus.
-Changes UI readability, font options and interface polish
-Cinematic adjustments to sex scenes
-Some tweaks to pacing and branching for better flow and interactivity
These are all based on the community’s insight, and I genuinely appreciate people taking the time to dig into the game and offer constructive thoughts. It really makes a difference.
I have big plans for where this story is going, and I’m glad to have you all along for the ride.

The one thing that annoyed me is why Clarissa was written like she was 12 when seeing a penis... I mean she is supposed to be a high school senior, and she seriously doesn't know how one works? You don't have to have actually seen one to know about erections, what causes them, and that there is no penis bone. Hell, even in the 1980s sexual education courses and science classes covering the human body were a thing. As were "boner" jokes and raunchy comedies.... I just had a hard time buying that level of naivety from a girl her age? I mean she could still have absolutely been fascinated by things like the size, shape, texture, hair, how much it grows, etc without being written like a small dumb child.
The game clearly plays the fence. While we get no mention of Clarissa being adopted this time, I feel like the scene with a young Clarissa standing at the graves of the MC's parents doesn't leave a lot of doubt about what her intended relationship would be if the dev had a choice. I mean have you ever been to a funeral where a childhood friend stands with the family of the departed at the grave? But then at the same time you also have the scene in Clarissa's bedroom with absolutely no hesitation from either character or real awkwardness about being "childhood friends".

I've been very fortunate that I haven't been to many funerals in my life and of the ones I've been to, the departed did not have small children. But hypothetically? Yeah, I could certainly picture two close friends at that age holding hands at a funeral. The scene doesn't really scream "siblings" to me, but it's certainly an indication that they've been close for a long time.
The scene in the bedroom? That scene I can speak from experience because my best friend growing up was a girl and we definitely did start... um... exploring our bodies together in high school

All of that same excited awkwardness and sexual naivety was there and we talked ourselves into doing it under similarly ridiculous pretenses... absolutely any reason other than admitting we were horny teenagers attracted to each other. So yeah, that scene definitely feels way more authentic as "childhood friends". I really can't imagine siblings doing that in reality.
