Anyone else notice that the game lifts a whole conversation almost word-by-word from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with Lorie as Cordelia?
Probably.
The game has been in development for years, it’s called “My Life as a Teenage Vampire” but the main character still hasn’t become a vampire yet…This is more suspicious than the Epstein files!
Orrrr maybe the developer is just real slow and it’s the next Summertime Saga or whatever other project that goes nowhere
Hi everyone,
The new version is out and has new scenes, new music and an all new ending (for now)!
Work has already begun on the next version, which will advance the story to the next day.
If you can, please support this project's continued development. I work on this game alone as a solo developer and every little bit of encouragement helps.

ending
I promise you won't be disappointed. It's just going to take a little while to get there. You better prepare a vampire ending. Nothig worse in vampire movies than turning into human again![]()
Each version ends on a cliff hanger, until the next major content update comes out and continues the story. Thanks for the update.
Question though, what do you mean by ending?
Oh please make it a long while, can't get enough of thisI promise you won't be disappointed. It's just going to take a little while to get there.
Good yeah scared me there for a bit, thought you meant ending ending...Each version ends on a cliff hanger, until the next major content update comes out and continues the story.

There ended up only being one removed image and a single edited variable, so wouldn't worry about it. Kind of a, blink and you would miss it, situation. You must be registered to see the links
Oh? Do tell. Incest? There ended up only being one removed image and a single edited variable, so wouldn't worry about it. Kind of a, blink and you would miss it, situation.
Sounds great. I meant that I'd look forward to an extended game to savour it and hearing you've got enough planned for a second part is music to my ears. There won't be a real ending until version 2.0
I may split up the game into two halves after version 1.0, with this being "part 1" and the next being "part 2".
Either way there is a whole second half of the story prepared that focuses more around supernatural stuff while this part 1 is more slice of life.
When I first began writing I Was a Teenage Vampire, the story was always structured around a tight 7-day arc, like a relatable week that changes your life forever. I believe stories should say something. They should have a clear beginning, middle, and end and not drag on endlessly without direction like so many games these days.Sounds great. I meant that I'd look forward to an extended game to savour it and hearing you've got enough planned for a second part is music to my ears.
Since it's in the "may", I dare share some aimless thoughts. Like I'd wonder whether the part 2 would be like a second game or you imagine it as like being posted within the same thread. Also why exactly? Historically I figure splits originate in size issues, to allow player to delete past parts, saving disk space, and to ease fresh downloads etc., but I don't think that's a reason with the sizes of new formats.
I sometimes get put off by these splits because of bad or confusing experiences. Some devs make the games really separate and then there's a confusion in carrying over saves or simplified choosing which path/ending of part 1 you want to start 2 with, other devs include part 1 in part 2 so it's more like an archived previous version or a full one, others require you to download both and merge, still others say theyre really separate and you can play in any order... Worst of all is not knowing which situation it is due to poor descriptions and conflicting player answers. It's not that no dev has pulled off a smooth transition, but, though I don't remember when or which games, I am pretty sure I've delayed checking out some split or multipart games until I had time and patience to go through the thread to determine how to best download or in what order to play and of course never got around to it and ended up missing the whole thing so...
Of course, this mainly happened to games I wasn't closely following or hadn't played before, I'm sure being there for the earlier stages means I wouldn't experience this here (and I'd honestly follow IWATV even if you reformat it into Unity inside an RPGM that's only playable online through a browser (but I'd draw the line at being forced to use Chrome))
Edit: Ok dumbass I am, but I realised with seconds that splitting would allow publishing a completed part on steam for a one time purchase. Reasonalble.
