For people who might be interested in this I just got a card for Jade from ' Being a DIK' edited a bit of her body.
These are the coordinate I made for her referencing from the game costumes
Can you tell me how to find those guides you are talking about?I don't think there is an easy way as in scanning the photo if thats what you aiming at (might be wrong though; have not really looked into 3rd party tools for HS/AIG). My ham-fisted approach would be to get a few picture from different angles and the tweak the hell out of the character creator. Bring a truck load of patience.
If you had not done one at all before you might do one or two free created characters at first to get familar with options and controls.
When you think you are done and need the actual photo as background art for the people to recognize whom you tried to do you are not done
There are a lot of detailed guides in this thread from some of the really talented ppl here; you have to search a bit though.

But I fear Schlong50 is no longer into this thread, never heard since I´m here present
You want to create a certain character following a real person? This is the hardest challenge here and is needing a lot of experience about the several tools of character creator.
Unfortunately I don´t know a useful guide for this so far.

A little hint from me: when I´m trying to create a certain face I deselect "play game in full screen" and choose a lower resolution than monitor default, so I be able in window mode to toggle fast between creator and pictures from the object, as Schlong implied.
To start it´s easier with anime characters, real persons is the master class of creation.

Currently not that active in AI/HS though. Might change when/if GPUs close in to halfway normal prices.
