I updated to DX 9 but I'm having a problem updating the KK-Manager to v0.19.0. It's getting me an invalid argument message when I click on the Standalone Updater and even I go to the Init-Setting to click on update just keeps telling me there is a new version available which I already downloaded it and extracted it. It seems not to want to work properly.

In the [UTILITY] KKManager Folder: Capture.PNG

dl the new version then goto main hs2 directory and open the [utility]kkmanager folder copy and paste all from your new download v0.19.0 into the utility folder overwrite then run the updater

installing now, ill let you know if i have issues and post fixes if needed

Im up and running with No issues YET lol, if you want me to i can upload my kkmanager and you can overwrite or delete your version

Thank you for your kind words.

The other people that I know who create realistic western girls/mamas are Taku46 and Egret_Birdnapper who exclusively publish on the illusion/HS2 discord server I think. There is also fellow Frenchie REDFOCKER who post there and here. I started playing with the character maker after checking his cards. They all make really high quality cards that I highly recommend.

Unfortunately I got the same results. Same error. I even try download it in a different location and copy and paste it but still didn't work. I have HS2 DX 9 installed onto an external drive instead of on my C Drive. I don't know if that's causing it. I didn't have this issue with KKManager v0.18.0 with HS2 DX 8.1 though.

Run the registry fixer in hs2 main directory, this will fix your issue with hs2 on the other drive

then run init settings update

I had a few people messaging me to complain my characters look like shit when they load it on their computer. Well it is gonna look different if you have different lighting setups. It doesn't matter if you use GraphicsMod with NextGenShader if your lighting setup is completely flat and doesn't produce shadows to show 3d relief.

I use DHH with almost stock settings. The only thing I have changed was the position of the light which is always positioned 3/4 from the character. You always get a shadow from relief features on your character: for example here the shadow right under the nose or mouth. My dhs settings attached here below.

Oh dear lord not another 100gb download... I just downloaded 24gb worth of updates yesterday on kk :[

Jokes aside, eternally grateful for doing the lords work

PSA - if you are using HS2CharEdit, make sure you are using v0.2.1.2 (just released). It fixes a couple errors in loading/saving data. Also adds some more controls! It officially does something you can't do in the vanilla game without the FemaleParameterInfo mod :D

Note that if you have BetterRepack R9, HS2CharEdit is included! It's currently v2.0.1.0, but that version will tell you on load if you need to update :)
