Yes, of course. The problem here is that this developer is receiving money from his backers to develop this game.
Love being on a pirate forum complaining on behalf of hypothetical people who pay for the game.

If people keep paying for something that's not providing value, that's really a them problem. It costs nothing to unsubscribe from a creator after you think you've contributed sufficiently to the next version, then resub later if they deliver.

Hi there! Non-hypothetical guy who pays for the game here. Can confirm it's extremely disappointing.

Before I always download a new patch, I first read the comments and so I save myself from pointless downloading. As far as I can tell, it's about the renders in the new patch.

Correct. The CG size went from 3.87 → 3.99 GB... a mere change of ~120 MB.

STFU and stop making sorry excuses for this utterly lazy dev that is milking the crap out of this game with bare minimum effort. You might want to read my review if you want to see this dev's pattern which started in 2023. If he's making $1500+ every month, which doubles during a new update, you'd better damn hope he's making more than 1.29 renders per day.

Speaking of renders, they aren't even that good anymore. He's doing increasingly more closeups, so that he doesn't have to set up anything in that Daz scene except for the lighting, and it takes a few minutes of effort at best.
How about stopping with the BS misinformation? First, the dev is not earning $1500 every month. They haven't even been earning $500 for like two years since the development started. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the genres being too niche, or maybe the dev just sucks at marketing.

Also, if you were actually a supporter, you'd know why the last update was released the way it was. First, the dev was extremely sick. Second, they lost a writer during that period and only recently got another one. I'm usually not the type to give devs a pass, but the amount of BS—especially from you—is staggering. If you care about the game so much (and I know for a fact you do, since you practically live in this thread), maybe tone down the BS?

I'm not asking you to stop criticizing, but unfair criticism isn't helpful. Maybe try being constructive for a change?

And if you're buying the excuses, I have a bridge to sell you.

Hope they do get back on track but can't see it happening. Their sub count grows a lot when they get a banger of an update out like the one prevouse, then it slides back down when they keep people waiting 7 months for 2 minutes of content. If they were honest in the updates I have no issues, but when they are misleading with progress then that's not right and pisses people off.

I don't disagree with you that, after 7 months of waiting, we got practically nothing in terms of content. My issue is how you try to muddy the narrative. Nobody misled anybody. The dev, while sometimes terrible at communication, was actually surprisingly transparent about what happened and why.

As a dev myself, I know exactly how it feels when you plan everything, only for it to be derailed by something in real life. And that's exactly what happened here. The dev released the previous update and planned to do more. They explicitly outlined what they wanted to accomplish, until the health crisis hit. But of course, people like you always dismiss that as just another excuse. Been there, done that.

The game is good at what it does, and that's why people want more of it. But it takes time and resources to pull it off, and sometimes there are a lot of obstacles that can come out of nowhere. You can continue to be Mr. Negative all you want, but at the end of the day, it doesn't change the reality of the situation.

The main downside to this update is it stops halfway through a sex scene (with terrible angles ... no, i'm never going to drop that) so doesn't exactly have a proper update ending. It just kinda stops mid flow.

I just think that maybe finishing that scene would have been a better place to end it.

And also maybe using better angles for the sex scenes and maybe showing the actual scene.......

Love being on a pirate forum complaining on behalf of hypothetical people who pay for the game.

A pirate forum, yes... And also a forum to promote a game. There's a symbiotic relationship here.

I, for one, am a backer of some games. But I certainly would never be a backer of a game like this. Or not at its current state of development. In fact, this game would be a good candidate for my money... If it weren't a rip-off.

But anyway, as I said above, that's a personal matter. If someone wants to throw their money away on a game that's never going to amount to anything, and whose development is a joke, that's their own business.

What I'd like to focus on is that I was responding to the message above, which somewhat sarcastically accused those who complain about the slow development of being overly demanding. It was said that we should be understanding, that developers have a life and all that... Which I agree with. But in this case, that's out of place. The development of this game is practically nonexistent. It is no longer that it is a lazy development, it is that it smells like the minimum is being done here to keep patrons' wallets in the milking machine without having a real will to move the project forward.

Is there any point in having a save feature if we have to start over every new update?
