I was giving the dev a lot of leeway and faith that there would be a release before the end of the year, but that is looking increasingly unlikely.

Such a shame as he has a fantastic VN with great character models, just sitting there wasting away.

Hello everyone,

I know this progress update is long overdue, and I am deeply sorry for my silence and lack of communication. There's a reason for it, one I wasn't ready to share before, but I feel I owe you the truth.

The main issue behind this extended delay is my health. It deteriorated to a critical point where I was, quite literally, unable to breathe on my own. It has been a long and difficult road just to get to a place where I can overcome that particular challenge, and I am still fighting the underlying sickness. As I've said before, I am committed to continuing the development of the game, even if the pace has to be much slower for now. I am genuinely feeling better, but recovery is a process, and I'm taking it one day at a time.

Despite these challenges, development on the next update has continued, albeit slowly. A lot of work has been done already, but I'm afraid it's not yet enough to be able to provide any kind of release date. I don't want to make promises I can't keep, so I will wait until I'm confident to share a timeframe.

However, I know you've been waiting patiently for far too long. While you wait for the next episode, I've decided to release a small DLC (349 renders) from the Immoral Stories Universe, featuring Rebecca. It has nothing to do with the main story and was originally intended as a bonus event alongside the next episode. But since the update isn't ready and the development has slowed so significantly due to my health, I decided to release this anyway, as a small token of my appreciation for your incredible patience. I truly hope you enjoy it.

I am so sorry for being so slow and unresponsive. Your continued support during this time means the world to me, especially now. It has been a source of incredible strength, and I can't thank you enough.

As we approach the new year, I want to wish each and every one of you a happy and healthy 2024. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Health is the most precious thing we have, a lesson I've learned all too well this past year.

I will do my best to keep you more informed as I move forward. Thank you for your understanding.

We actually have gotten something, a side-story featuring Rebecca. Still DLing and will report back. Unlikely to be very impressive, but it's something.
