What is the difference?

The canon route leads to the harem, with no choices, a kinetic story. Meanwhile, the individual routes are parallel stories where the protagonist breaks from that canon and chooses only one love interest. It's worth noting that since these individual routes are pilot content versions, there are no choices yet, but in the future each waifu will have her own route, with choices, and at least 3 endings: good, normal, and bad.

This writing reminds me of the English teacher in Great Teacher Onizuka. I'm not fluent in Japanese but just dropping Japanese words into English sentence structure just doesn't jive with my brain so well.

After reading the description and some of the reviews I was more under the impression that this was going to have unusual mechanics involving learning Japanese. I was intrigued about how this would be worked into an eroge...

Unfortunately it just reads like...cringe western otaku speak.

Just as an example "Sasuga Saigo-chan" would have been better then "That's my musuko." in my opinion.

I'll play some more and see if my opinion improves. I would also like to stress I'm only basing this opinion on watching a modest amount of anime.

Hey, thanks a lot for giving my game a chance, I really hope you like it. If all the romaji terminology isn't to your liking, you can disable terms individually to leave only the ones you like, or just turn it off completely to play in English only.

well if you need to find this romanji since you were mostly interested in the sis and wanted try the non cannon route first.. still dont see the tab/control for it but id put it first since its one of the first decisions you may have to make..

Yes, it was a matter of lack of time. I'll probably implement the addition of explained romaji (it's not “romanji”) terms for the next version.
