Haha, we'll see. I have had some reservations about some of the stuff that has been going into FFFox mod recently. A great deal of what I've seen in it is quite good (I do still miss the added sex sound effect, will probably split off a version at some point that includes that, amongst other things), but other stuff not being entirely to my taste (mostly on the art side) makes me hesitant to entirely throw my lot in there. It's possible for the most part though just to port the script into his language format, aside from some small amount of rewording necessary for line splits and the panty summary screen being left either kind of broken or needing recoding. I don't terribly want to maintain a version like that though as I find his script format much worse to work with (less of a problem were the script "finalized" but revisions are still very much in progress), but it could be done.

If WolfRPG could be more modular I'd be much more enthusiastic about it, but being so all or nothing makes it a lot more uncomfortable.

But on the same token, I find it hard to justify adding things to the game that I personally don't enjoy, so it becomes a bit of a mixed bag and makes me uncomfortable.

Even without me though someone could port the whole TL revision to his version. It's not specifically hard, just tedious to copy out every line into the correct text file. Would optimally want a bit of re-writing for style on the original/modified content but for the most part it'd just be a whole lot of ctrl-c ctrl-v.

That's true, the hard part already being done makes things much easier if someone decides they desperately need both at once. That someone might be me in a year or two if no one else has done it, but for now I'll just enjoy this superb translation as is lol. Thank you again Imouto

If you mean with Daseson's on top, the option to change appearance in-game is indeed an FFFox thing, though you could very much just swap assets if you want a permanent change (this goes for Kitsune Imouto as well if you want). You'll just have to grab the relevant assets and overwrite the base ones.

I have a problem loading a previous save for an 1.4.3 version of imouto fantasy, I made sure to download both save compatibility and patch only files as to not replace those that are still necessary from the previous iteration. The issue arises whenever I try to press continue it creates the warning pop-up but does not let me select a save state but rather stays at the main menu with the same warning. It then instructs me in a green banner to delete files that are deemed as from another game as seen in the first image. When I delete the said save files the following save state will begin to have the same issue. Please if you know anything that I can do to fix it I would love to hear back. Thank you

The save compatibility patch is only for Kagura (Steam) saves and will break compatibility with saves from other versions. Try replacing the game.dat file with the patch version (or just extract the entire Patch Only archive on top again) and try again.

Thank you so much for such a quick reply, I extracted the entire Patch Only archive on top again but it still, unfortunately, does not work. While it did stop the banner saying to delete the save files, it is still stuck on this frame.

Not sure, I just tested some saves made on either the old Shades version or a raw JP version of 1.4.3 and had no issues importing into a fresh game patched over Shades's old release. Could you post one of the saves that is breaking so I can try loading it to see what happens?

Hmm, not sure what the problem you're having is. Tried the files you posted in three different installs of my version (my active working version, a patch over the old Shades version, and my raw full game pack) and it seems to load fine, with or without the system.sav file. Wish I could be more help here but I can't seem to reproduce the issue. If you want you could try downloading just the full (Game) version and importing into that to remove any chance of incorrect installation.

Try doing the main download of the game. I was having issues applying the patch to the original japanese downloads. But swallowing my pride got it to work

Oh! A thought occurs: are you trying to patch the raw Japanese version without unpacking the archives? By default the game is packed into a bunch of .wolf archives, and these need to be unpacked first if you're going to patch over them. You can do that by using WolfDec, or just grab the full game version that is already set up and good to go.

Pushing a small update that's just fixes from reports and testing and a bit of UI stuff. Encountered a few funny things about the game while testing for it.

- Doctor X event is kind of broken? After the event triggers, it seems the game will still prompt for the normal scientist(?) procedure. Succeeding on both nets you +40 all stats, so that's a thing. Maybe Inusuku will fix this?
- Flower Girl makes you fail abstinence week. Naturally.
- Kana can still join you for dinner after enjoying your Imouto as an appetizer. I guess she just waits until you're done?

Anyhow, hopefully all the urgent fixes are out of the way at this point and I can just proceed to touch things up as I go and experiment with the code at my leisure.
