I don't even know what the bug is. It's on both versions of the translation, except I haven't tried the Steam version.
The error requires the file SC1.jpg in the date folder. This error continues repeatedly .
The quest says: exlusive features for the proffesional version?
I don't have that proffesional version, so I don't know what it needs there.

There's something wrong with that save of yours. All my saves are around 490 KB in size, while yours is just 20 KB. Tried loading it anyway, but the game flags it as corrupted.

As for the actual issue: do you have any special characters in your game's path, or an overly long one? WolfRPG is a bit sensitive to that stuff. If yes, try running it from a folder like C:\imouto\ or similar and see if the error persists.

Ok. i try

Upd: No luck.
Maybe the problem is the translation from shady, because he has a file SC1.jpg in the date folder.

Why do you have the editor open? Are you making a mod? The base game has a gamepro.exe but I don't know what monster you've created

I'm very confused now, not even my Monochrome saves (the first game) are that tiny. :LUL:
Maybe running the game through the editor generates a different save format? Let's wait for Imouto_prpr or someone else who actually knows about this stuff.
Aha, I saved just by starting the game and the save became 15 kb :)

So the error is that you are using an executable file created with a non-Pro version of Wolf Editor. The game uses a few functions that are Pro version only (in this case, taking a screenshot and saving it to disk to display and manipulate), so if the executable was not made with a Pro version of the editor, you'll get these errors. All available versions of the DLC translation come with an executable that supports the Pro features, maybe you've tried running the pre-DLC one or one you created yourself instead? Or are you using something like mtool? My understanding is that mtool also creates its own executable (and screws up the save format).

In terms of the editor, since you're not running the Pro version of that, it's definitely going to throw errors with those commands.

So hey, kind of missed the conversation here but ya'll really held down the fort. When it comes to the Android version, what was said is correct that it's a straight-up port made in RPGMaker, so basically an entirely different game. As such, making a translated and updated version of that is entirely contingent on there first being an updated base game version to work on top of.

Personally, I have no idea what the state of anything like that is. I'm aware of a Japanese version which was actually updated fairly recently on , but I don't know if this is managed by Inusuku, or someone else, or if there are plans to add the DLC to it, or anything like that. If there were a proper Android version, I would strongly consider porting my translation on top of it, as I do think there is merit to having something like thatーI'd probably boot it up sometimes myself, assuming my potato phone could run it (it ain't emulating the Windows version, that's for sure). But yeah, that's going to be up to some other party to create before there can be any movement on that front.

As for download numbers, honestly I don't have a very good idea myself, lol. My best guess would be in the thousands somewhere, though it could be over 10,000, I really don't know. The highest number I've seen on a specific file is ~500 or so as far as I can recall, but I don't think MEGA shows numbers, so that's just from Gofile on a single release of the game (pixeldrain does similar numbers). Given that I've put out about a dozen updates, I have no idea how many of those are from new people versus repeat downloads, or how many I'm missing entirely on MEGA (which is listed first as a host), so your guess is as good as mine how that shakes out. Regardless, the thought that maybe I've helped some decent number of people have a bit more fun with this special little game is plenty gratifying.

Version 1.2.1 android, works fine for me. It has the DLC. everything Just needs to be translated.

Indeed, I did grab this when I saw it before and took a quick peek, may try figuring it out at some point but in the short term I got a lotta gaming to do. Some of the technical stuff I'd need to resolve as I am absolutely not a mobile guy and I couldn't even figure out how to get the game to launch on Windows after extracting so uhh yeah some work needed there. Repacking and transferring to my phone every time I need to test sounds absolutely miserable so would definitely need a better method.

Also the last time I used RPGMaker was 20 years ago (seriously) so yeah, I'm maybe just a bit out of date with how that works.

Use android emulator for pc. It's very convenient. You share a folder on your PC and install applications from there.

Yeah, I've seen this before. Though I should be able to open the game in RPGMaker (which I don't have) and would need to do so to fix a lot of the formatting I'm sure. That would just run on Windows anyways, I probably just need to figure out how it all works.
