Looking at this picture, I feel like we are definitely going to see something happening with Queen in 1.0 Update.
I fully expect them to both remain in their positions, but MC's left wrist will bend the other way, and his hand slides into her skirt's slit.
Mom will be talking about something semi-serious, and MC will be all 'Mmhmm...' and then cop a feel or two.

I don't recall that choice leading to exclusive scenes, so currently it shouldn't matter.

Regarding this issue, I was expecting an immediate confrontation between the North and the South... But they simply accepted the rejection and went home...What's the point of a political marriage if there isn't a 0.1% chance of you dying a quick death if caught lacking
Basically, so far, there has been no difference between the choices other than the consummation videos...

Tbh I was waiting for her scene while we're traveling to the west, since we already bring her there before the rebellion happened
Btw, is there any possibility in the story later to do something with Arcadia or Ludwig's daughter?? Since we saw them at the ball event when giving ring
Yeah make sense, I was thinking the same at that point. But somehow the plot didn't do anything with her, even though she said she's ready to do anything lol
Btw, I think through out the sequel, MC has met 2 cats, first is a mysterious cat and the second one is ludwig. Not sure who's the other one beside ludwig

If he was 'alone' I am pretty sure there might be a chance to go for it XD In no way I would disregard the idea of it in the next chapters because coup way or not she stays at the court/castle, right? Pretty sure she'll be in the next chapters too and it seems to me LM wouldn't even bother to create a hot milf -who is also a significant part of the court- to solely feast on our eyes with her.I think at some point in the game, maybe not next chapter but the chapter after it will deepen the courtly matters to show us our choices matter. AFAIR LM said that he is designing the updates with the policy of; 1 story heavy chapter - 1 choice heavy/choice effects shown chapter. I think next update will be a story heavy chapter with a one game changing choice at the end, since its 1.0 and all and if I do remember right it was said at the end of 0.9, right? I highly suspect it will be about Lockhart and Erin since that matter had been dragging on since the early updates dammit. In rebel route, Argus is dead and it is kinda indicated that Henry will die too so there is really no need for Lockhart anymore, with him -if there will be a choice about it ofc- out of the picture (Lockhart) we will be able to usurp their family wealth in the name of Golden Order ---including Priscilla
and Josephine ---Ludwig had a daughter? Forgot her already.

yeah I am on Cass path already so for me Argus and Henry are already dead so hoping to claim Priscilla and especially Josephine in future updates although we are sure about Priscilla featuring in 1.0 update, I have no idea regarding Josephine and I feel next update is going to be mostly regarding Priscilla, Cass, Isis/Aurora and the rest of family members and regarding Ludwig I am not sure though as jacu_ZZ_i mentioned that they were at the ball party with Ludwig but as much as I remember those girls talking to Ludwig were just random girls who he was trying to impress in front of MC although can be wrong about this as that was long time ago.I mean Cass was right beside us so...

I think about Josephine and Valerie is already pretty clear tho, one of the husband is dead nonetheless and the other one didn't care at all about anything other than court matter, so I suppose 99% they already in the MC's hands. Also about Lockhart himself, if you already have an agreement with him to not touch Elin, I also think 99% she's already in MC hands nonetheless, unless you give a wrong impression to her and make a negative points towards either love or power path which possibly gone wrong.
About Arcadia's path, I think I slightly agree with n00bPanda, although there are also possibility for Alaina's path since she's also one of the court member. So chances are pretty high I suppose. Not sure about the relationship towards Alaina and the knight's guard alongside her that we saw in one of the premonition at the forest. If they're lovers, might be challenging to get her, if not 85-99% she's possible to be inside the harem.

I'm a sucker for fantasy AVNs, but I've read that there's branching in the game, could someone tell me how heavy it is?
Basically I'm curious how much of the full game I'm going to miss because of the branching. An estimate is fine.
I only play games once and I don't replay them so if I'm going to miss a lot of content I rather not play it at all.
Also does this game have a scene replay gallery? So I'll be able to at least see the missed scenes that way.

So far we haven't really seen the whole effect of a lot of branching and a lot of stuff happens on every route but how it got to that point changes depending on what choices you make. Some chapters branch more than others, like the last chapter had 3 different branches for how you resolve a crisis. The crisis is resolved either way but we have yet to see the overall impact of how the mc resolved it. It is 100% impossible to get every scene on the same save though, some scenes only happen based on what background you pick and there is a political marriage the mc has later where you're given the choice of two princess and you obviously only end up married to one of them. The other one disappears from the game after you make that choice and returns home.
Although I'm kind of confused what you mean by replaying. For every route based VN I've played I just make multiple save files and play them in tandem. I don't restart the game again from the very beginning each time. I typically have a preference for one the routes though and the other routes are usually more for me to see what I missed. Though sometimes I switch which branch is my main. For every Renpy game I recommend having multiple saves

I only play a game once, by replaying I mean that I don't go back and play route B if I chose route A at one point, not sure how else to phrase it.
Basically I don't play games where I can miss an LI or a lewd scene because of branching, when I started playing AVNs I used to play everything and had multiple saves for games where it was necessary, however I just don't find branching games enjoyable anymore (for a number of reasons) where I have to choose between LIs or events that'll make me miss out on LIs or lewd scenes.
A game can have heavy branching BUT if it's constructed in a way that I won't miss an LI or a lewd scene because of a choice I'll still play it, I don't care about different approaches/routes if the outcome is the same and I won't miss out on lewd content.
However by your description it looks like I'll miss LIs or lewd scenes in this game because of the branching, so I'm not that interested.
