I don't understand the industrial amount of hate directed at elves on this forum.
There is a reason that games like CK2 and CK3 have an "auto-stop known plots" button in them.
And that's because most people don't like schemers in their homes. And that's all these fucking Elves do, so naturally some people are going to dislike them.
The humans in this game are (with rare exceptions, and I include the goddess Cass in this) extremely deplorable little bitches who constantly point out the fact that the MC is half-elf with despicable prejudice.
Which humans are "deplorable little bitches" exactly? Because I can't really think of one that fits that bill. Let's take the White path as an example playthrough.
Aker and Ludwig both die, either directly helping the MC or for the MCs family, Conrad I truly believe IS in fact LOYAL to the crown and also, was right the whole time about Alaina being NOT loyal. Hell even the random Human Dukes you meet along the way of the game, are all pretty good and treat you with respect and diligence. Argus and Leonard especially seem rather loyal, hell the latters own son also even DIES for you. While helping you escape the castle. Even Lockhart is actually a pretty good fucking dude, and treats you and your sister really well and with kindness if you're just not a massive cock to him first. Meanwhile the only Elves of note we meet are Alaina, your Aunt and your two cousins unless I'm forgetting someone? And they're all just such dirty little plotters...
It makes much more sense for the MC to choose the elven side than to defend this bunch of annoying bastards.

She's directly responsible for Cass Coup attempt, with the whole feeding her bullshit about her mother. So therefore she is the reason Aker, Ludwig and the Young Leonard are all dead, plus the other random no names...And the bitch only then acted, when she found out you had broken out of prison. is also being an annoying little scheming bitch, by trying to cause chaos in The West, by first taking down all the mages they had, and then just being a fucking nuisance with guerilla warfare and shit. And by supporting this fucking rebellion. I'm also assuming she's going to the one who has kidnapped your unborn child and her mother... Like nah man, fuck these scheming Elves, I ain't ever going to be their fucking puppet on the throne...
