Regardless if Iris and Aurora are main love interests or not, you can always court them regardless of your class. You can miss scenes with them, but that wasn't the initial point that started this pedantic argument.
There is a difference between being able to court a character (which is possible for all love interests aside secondary/tertiary ones like the vampire or the odd village wench) and being able to getting every scene with them (which is not possible, not that anyone is arguing this).
The post that started this argument was very inoffensive and even pointed out that the system could've been better:

It doesn't limit your romance options for the main LIs, and that's good. It also makes each playthrough a little bit different, which is even better.
The only problem is with Mage MC getting a whole-ass sidequest with Elin, while other perks get little to no "worthwhile" content in compensation.
Bookworm is good for extended Lia scenes + a few more + Vampire GF; Warrior for more sidechicks nobody cares about.
If every class had a defined role (if we knew that Warrior corresponded to certain LIs, like Mage does for Elin), then it would a better use of the system and there would be far fewer complaints.
