I don't know, but I think saying that Alaina isn't a villain because we only exist thanks to her is like saying that a rapist who got his victim pregnant isn't a villain either; it makes no sense at all...

She didn't do anything for the MC; everything she did was exclusively for the elven race. It just so happened that giving the MC a "little push" would help her achieve her goal.

I never said anything about trusting someone no questions asked just that she's not overly suspicious and worthy of being killed/exiled.

Who said anything about Alaina being a villain? who said anything about anyone being a villain. We were talking about whether or not Alaina is worth keeping around or if she needs to die/get out. I don't think this is the type of game to really have black and white good evil everybody does some fucked up stuff. The game has antagonists but it doesn't have "villains"
