There are three paths in the game that are flagged : Green emperor, where Cas and her family and the western provinces gain majority control over the crown "obviously, because she and her family organized the entire plot". Red Emperor, kill cass just before the coronation opens the conquest paths for the rest of the provinces. White Emperor, which is the golden order/status quo pass where maybe the rest of the regions join through diplomacy (you have to defeat cass coup but not kill her).

Did you not read the message or did you not understand it properly? According to what this person is saying the Red Emperor (Kill Cass) path opens the options for conquering the rest of the providences, in other words recreating the empire your ancestor created. It's not your area that's getting conquered, it's you doing it to the other kingdoms. In reality it's one of the two good routes with the White Emperor being the other. Green from what they're saying just leads to you being a puppet state of the west which makes it objectively the worst route you could take. It's literally the only one where your losing power rather than gaining power.

No ?
You miss some content in the following update but that's it, so far at least.
IIRC if you kill Cass before her coup you still get the white coronation. Also you can order Cass execution after the white coronation, if you didn't kill her before.

I am confused, the OP that I was responding to said the White Coronation happens when you defeat Cass during the Coup, not preventing it all together?

Well yes? But that wasn't what you said, you stated " Damn, so those that killed Cass and prevent the Coup are fucked??". Basically saying that the Red Emperor route screws you or is bad, you didn't say anything about the White Emperor route (Which's the one where you don't kill Cass and

I'm not really sure why your suddenly talking about the White Emperor route when everything in your message was to do with the Red Emperor route.

I'd like to have Red Emperor path without killing Cass. Seems not possible though?

Maybe later in the story you can acquire autonomy in relation to her desires. In this way, the path of the green emperor can transform into the red emperor. But these are just assumptions...
I thought it could be possible through white emperor when they explained them. Try diplomacy, fail miserably, take by the sword. Just assumptions like you said though.
