I agree it is super strange to go into the feuding assassins's land with no guards or additional help. The only reasoning I can see is they needed to keep some soldiers at the castle in case of an attack. And depending on your choices they could have been recovering from fighting Cass's forces. And if you sided with Cass I was surprised she went in alone. She has almost zero shot at surviving any confrontation without the MC's help.In my opinion, in the "green route" Cass was supposed to be our main ally in the matter, but he goes once with Elin to see the rebels and never with Cass... The MC doesn't even talk to her once to discuss anything he learned and yet out of nowhere she arrives with an elaborate and made plan... I would like it to seem like we are playing together, but it just seems like we are her pawns...
But the part that I found strangest is, the MC arrives in the land of the "king's assassin" and has to be simply alone without being able to have any security by his side, and everyone is talking as if nothing had happened, I know they have their own problems to solve, but most of them seem to think it is just "childish tantrums" and don't even take it very seriously and simply ignore the king's son who was literally "assassinated" "by one of them"...
So I feel safe pretending to be her pawn cause the danger from her is quite low when compared to the strength of the mom and potentially Elin if they went rogue.
