all kidding aside, considering we arent talking about some rookie dev here, it would be for the best to not give any promises, fixed dates and such things. a life is life, anytime something unexpected can happen and ruin all your plans. and it looks much worse if you have advertised them for one reason or another.

Given that the update will 99% be released by this weekend (by the 11th of May), I would say the prediction is still accurate. There are far worse offenders in terms of missing promised release dates, even those that don’t say an exact date like LM does - and LM still manages to almost hit his exactly.

Are you seriously complaining about the frequency of updates? Please, name me another AVN dev who works on their projects as a hobby and still maintains a regular schedule like LM.

And we're not even talking about minor updates here—plus, he keeps his supporters informed on a weekly basis.

your explanation would be plausible, if only...not being an actual root of the situation.
it is like when in corrupted system where (almost) everyone steal, bigger and more influnetal steal more ofc, an honest man appears and tries to earn for his living. it goes for some time till inevitably he slowly adapts and starts to steal himself here and there, justifying his deeds by those stealing way more than he is doing atm.

Technically, LM is guilty of missing his “promised” deadline.

However, as he missed the mark by barely a week, I think you’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone burning their pitchforks in response.

If LM was an a hitman, he missed the heart of his target; but hit the head instead. Still a killshot.
