I think that scene was Seraphina choosing between fully abandoning her son as shes no hope anymore of him giving up on his infatuation with her or trying to make him realize he doesn’t love her how he thinks he does and just wants her body. Obviously in the love path, MC is going to continue to love her more than just physically so it didn’t pan out how she expected. Now she knows his answer and has to decide if she truly loves him as both a son and man.

I am not arguing that. LM really fumbled the Love scene in chasing parity (had to have a sex scene for both paths at the same time) with the Lust path, when Love path had exactly 0 setup for sex - then fumbled the execution & immediate aftermath as well.

That's why LM is adding more Love path scenes in 1.1, hopefully he manages to fix the Love path or it should literally just be deleted.

I can’t 100% confirm it, but LM did tell me that Queen will be getting more scenes in 1.1.

I doubt he is naive to think he didn’t miss the mark with the Love scene in 1.0, so he knows he needs to fix it with 1.1.

Well ive officially reached the end of 0.5 and thus the end of the walkthrough pdf. It seriously fucking blows how much worse the multimod is.
Oh well I guess theres nothing I can do besides missing half the scenes in the rest of the game now

Since you use the walkthrough pdf why not use the muti-mod for the walkthrough?

Mods corrupts saves most of the time. I would never recommend using mod for a 'first-base' save.

If you ask me, you don't need a WT after 0.5. Besides Cass' coup invitation and king's announcement stat checks game is pretty straightforward with choices. I might make an PDF WT one day though, if relationship dynamics gets deeper and and politic choices have more impact to story.

This is why the "love path" in this game is somewhat sterile and boring.

I don't think there is a way to spare her on the red path. Either Callahan or Isis assist in her killing, but the result is the same: Elis delivers a speech while covered in Cass's blood.
