The MC is written as a bumbling idiot only if you side with Cass. On the other routes, White and Red, he is shown to be far more competant, decisive and ruthless. What did you guys expect choosing to participate in a retard coup aganist an almost dead father with one foot in the grave already. Choose a retard option get treated like an imbecile. Looks fair to me.

Well, coup was backed up by Alaina however indirectly it was, she fueled Cass' already built-up anger towards the King. I admit it kinda happened because the emotional reasons for both Elis and Cass but who could have give the guarentee of king's death in the near future? So no can say it was solely happened because the emotional reasons. Also, if it wasn't for the coup, Elis could have missed out the opportunity of capturing the West, like they say: every cloud has a silver lining.
By the way, when Cass learns Alaina manipulated her towards the king for a long time and it was actually her who killed her mother she will be pissed af.
I disagree that the coup was dumb. If they didn't do a coup they might have to wait years for Elis to become king while the old king does nothing and continously let the Empire fall apart. In the Red path and Green path the ultimate goal is to restore the empire and do you think the old king would have done that or sent any real support to deal with what was happening in the west or to vassalize them? I also don't really think the Green path and Red paths are really that different.

No, in green path you can't choose side on your own. So that means you can't choose your future allies. you're following cass, like a pupet would do. And cass choose ''her'' allies for you. In red path you are the decision maker and free from external influence.
The red path is still getting influenced that's how you get on the red path. The difference is that since Cass isn't around getting her families support isn't an opition

Mom has nothing to do with any of the paths like that. You can get her content on every path. The thing with the white path/ green path red path thing is solely about how you choose to have the mc respond to Cass's attempt to start a coup. Green path is ally with Cass, Red path is ally with Cass then betray her and white path is don't side with her at all. The rest of the family's content is the same on every route regardless of whether which of these you do. And whether or not the King declares the mc the heir or not really doesn't matter

Seraphina is the only one not tied to any path, you still can lose Elin. So giving Elin ring increase her point tho.

You can lose Elin if you decide to not intervene so (Blackmailing, taking whiteblood) or simply closing her path by saying good luck.

Well, from a common sense standpoint, giving the ring to either of them would have been extremely wrong. But I liked the scene with Elin more than the others.
Moreover, in his previous game, decisions made at the beginning could be reflected in the ending. And given that one twin is a reflection of the other, this could, for example, lead to a more positive outcome in their relationship.

That's what I'm hoping these distinctions (Elin's Corruption vs Love, and Seraphina's Lust vs Love paths) end up meaning; I think we'll see the requirement of having Corrupted relationships with these women to eventually have them in the harem, or Love relationships where the MC will have to choose who to marry again and make his last Queen.
