For me that kind of makes it worst that she treated Cass that way. As growing up the MC and Cass treated each other like brother and sister ( family) I believe Elin and Lia too. I don't think Cass even knows the truth. While I understand why she would never tell them the truth it kind of makes her seem more cold to do so , would be more understandable if they knew that bit of info. But for the kids to believe a lie like that and to come home to say she isn't family makes her seem unlikeable to me.

Cass doesn't know the truth; she was manipulated just like her mother. Of all the family members who know the truth at the moment, it's Seraphina and Mc. And the king, but no one cares about him

Seraphina's statements are understandable: For nobles and ruling families, blood is the most important thing, and from Seraphina's perspective, Cass is nothing to her. It doesn't matter whether she's Elis's sister or cousin. We may not like it, but life is complicated.

I agree and disagree . Yeah I can't blame her 100% cause you are right about that , it's just the hard truth about nobility. However I feel she doesn't need to be , cold mean / rude about it either. That's where my problem is with it. Cause she could of chosen to simply fake it Infront of the MC and the rest of the family and just choose to not help or treat her like family in private. I would of found that way more understandable and she would come across less unlikeable since there is a valid reason for it , even tho I would of still found her a bit unlikeable for treating Cass like trash until I see Cass deserved it / there was a valid reason.

actually like the love route more I don't care for the corruption route or whatever tho that kind of goes for all the LI not just the mother. But I find I dislike the mother's corruption path the most

Imo I hate the love and like the corruption route. And this is coming from someone who hates corruption based games. The love route is really slow and boring and it just feels like the mom did a 180. Normally I wouldn't even bother with the corruption route but I think the queen's love content is some of the worst content in the royal family overall. Only the scene the last chapter was passable

Aurora ( the only wife I like)

I can't bring myself to like Aurora either. I liked her date and I liked in her introduction, but every scene after that and is pretty bad. She's like the definition of milquetoast

I kind of do want more Content with her and Spring more so Sona. Tho I dunno if she would be my favorite Cass and Elin are such good character to me should would have to be a damn good character to beat them. Even Lia and I don't like romancing her at all. While what she does have is good not enough to decide anything sadly since looks don't matter to me.

The fact that her relationship is factored into the chapter's outcome gives me hope that there will be more content with her in the future.

Imo I hate the love and like the corruption route. And this is coming from someone who hates corruption based games. The love route is really slow and boring and it just feels like the mom did a 180. Normally I wouldn't even bother with the corruption route but I think the queen's love content is some of the worst content in the royal family overall. Only the scene the last chapter was passable

Where we differ for sure I haven't found anything about her path that is bad for me. Then again she is kind of my type of LI if im being honest. Even if I like Cass or Elin more as characters Aurora is more of my type. I kind of wish we had more Aurora content that wasn't just sex.

It's the non sex content I'm talking about that's bad. It's just Aurora getting shit on by everyone while failing to do anything impactful. Like there is literally no point in the character existing other than to give us an official heir. Say what you want about Isis, but at least she does stuff and tries to take an active role in the plot. Everything with Aurora just makes me wish the stupid arranged marriage was not a thing at all. We already have enough female characters that do not do anything besides wait around for the MC in these stories. Be defiant, help Elis, do something at least. Likewise, I think Cass's best path is the green path because again she also takes an active role and does stuff while still having moments of vulnerability and having a softer side.


I do not like the prisoner route for her except for the "I can fix her" type of people. Cass in the green path is a badass. Her in jail is just there so you can feel sorry for her and pat yourself on the back for trying to make her better. I cannot stand these types of female characters that do not do anything and just exist to be doted on and fuck the male lead. Especially something that is supposed to be "Game of Thrones" like palace intrigue. It would be somewhat ok if this was some sort of suburb slice of life type game and not something with an actual plot.

The problem is it's not that he doesn't act creepy on the love route. He still does most of the same stuff he did on the lust route before deciding at the last minute to back out and that he was sorry while the queen suddenly wants to bang him all of a sudden despite being extremely against the idea moments ago.

Yup Isis is def the way to go, in my main playthrough (green path) she was cordial with both queen and cass and thats already better then 99% of royalty in my book.

Not that she acts badly towards the MC exactly but rather how that path feels which makes me dislike her in it. I feel like a Puppet and she is the puppet master without really able to fight back or say stuff against it. I get it for the actual coup but after that when we go West is when I have issue with her and just going along with everything without trying to come up with another way to do things. I mean I can understand why maybe cause this game has insane branching and would be more work and complications for the dev. But something like that route I would of liked to have a path where we come up with our own plans and get Cass to agree with them and one where we let Cass be the Puppet master.

Otherwise the only thing I dislike about Cass in that path is how we have to give her all 7 rings. I would not want Cass to have power over the council after pulling a Coup. She is either in it to put us on the throne or not at all in my books , she doesn't get a promotion even if does make sense for her to get an power upgrade. Her having that kind of power makes me warry of her more than before.

Not really a compliant really but just a preference difference since there is 2 paths. I admit im not a huge fan how ruthless she can be in that path. when the fix her path is an option. However her character is the ruthless , cunning rogue type so that makes sense. Basically Little Finger if he was a good fighter.
