In my opinion, the game clearly shows us that Cass is gradually increasing her power. For example, in one of the scenes in the latest update, Cass says something like, "Half the guards in this room are my men." Or the fact that Cass does some of the main character's work and understands much more about politics.
But I also want to say that the MC and Cass look very good together. They're like young schemers who have finally seized power and are ready to kill if necessary.

I wish more characters in AVN's were killable. I respect devs more that allow it as it very few do. As I find LI in AVN's generally feel too safe for me when they are put in a dangerous situation I never have to worry if something bad is gonna happen most of the time.

Because the game and the audience brag about how its a tense Game of Thrones dramatic, with danger lurking in every corner and every character having their own agency conflicting with others, when effectively its a lazy power fantasy in which MC always comes out on top and can always decide to kill or spare a character.

It's hard to do well, because of the curse of dimensionality: game tree becomes wider with each relevant choice and few choices are as relevant as killing a character, leading to more development needed to account for possibilities
If you want choices and consequences that really make you feel the danger play Karlsson's Gambit. You will second guess most choices.
Not enough of that talk with M/S scenes needs more of that.Aren't you mummy's good boy
