Honestly, Elin doesn't pull on the proud title of "Yandere". Her character is revealed very well in the scene after you choose to give her a ring. In this scene, it is shown that Elin is soft-bodied. She says in plain text: "I'm just too weak to reason and act like you." This is not Yandere's behavior. Rather, in this scene, the protagonist himself is Yandere.
In general, if we started assigning "archetypes" to characters, then they are obviously Cersei and Jaime. Except Jaime is Elin, and Cersei is Elis. You can see for yourself that Elis is spoiled, hungry for power, lustful, and desires his sister. Elin is actually a classic good girl-type, but she has feelings for her brother, unlike Elis, her feelings are more romantic, but due to the fact that Elin is not as strong-willed and poisonous as Elis, she falls under his influence and begins to deteriorate. And Elis starts using her feelings and starts manipulating her, even completely controlling her. This is literally Cersei and Jaime's relationship.
And the sight of Elin corrupting is just amazing! Her nature is easy to understand, she wanted to be a sweet, good elf princess, but alas, she also has a desire for her brother, which puts her in a situation where to get what she wants, she has to do what she doesn't want. She succumbs to the bad influence of Elis.
She doesn't like lying, but she does it for the sake of Elis.
She doesn't want to rush into sex, but she gives up in front of Elis with tears in her eyes.
She betrays some of her desires for the sake of her other desires.
And the tears that come out of it, these emotions - they're great!
