Is she really getting prioritised though? She's getting more than some of course. But she's still a secondary LI in the grand scheme of things, and I don't imagine we'll be seeing much more of her anytime soon now with how it ended. She's had her little visit to the Capital, got some more fun with Elis, and is now going to go home and stay there to keep baking that bun in her oven for us.

Plenty of time now for others to get their share.

i mean for secondary li she basicly getting more scene than other side li even main li like Elin. i'm only talking about sex scene because for story you can skip her and nothing will change unlike Elin who got bigger part on main story.

Same for me; after trying various methods the only thing that worked for me was downloading Update on main page and applying it to the prev. compressed version from a few months ago

I was using the compressed version this time, but that's like all the other times.

If you check all the sex scenes in the game right now, Valerie scenes basically outrank every other one. Superior in all aspect animation, positions, and duration.

My theory, though completely unfounded, is that the dev's wife/girlfriend is named Valeria IRL and he is being threatened by her if she doesn't get the most scenes. Or maybe he is in love with a girl called Valeria. How else do you explain there being two characters with such a similar name, one being a short version for the other. Or I could be totally wrong...

I see lot of people having a problem with Elin scene, for the past about 2 updates she had no scene whatsoever and now when she finally got it all you guys wanna do is complain? Now about Valeria she won the poll and that is why she has a great scene in 0.12 Update just like Val the elf won the poll in 0.11 and hence she showed up in 0.11 and nobody had a problem now when Valeria showed up after about 2-3 updates everybody has a problem?

Yes Elin should have gotten a better scene but don’t you guys see Queen and Lia having great scenes in each update? Yes there are problems with translation, animations and other bugs but are you guys getting updates once in a year or once in 2-3 months? Also regarding usage of AI in recent updates, about 150 people voted in favour of it so no point blaming LM.

People supporting him on Patreon don’t care about all this because they know how hard it is to update the game every 2-3 monts, sure LM can perfect this game in every possible way but then the updates would be like once or twice a year you guys want that? Sure but people paying him on Patreon don’t want that

What I want to say is stop complaining about 1 negative thing and start focusing on other 10 positive things in each update.

Everytime LM releases the update this thread is filled with negative opinions for at least a week after the release, just be happy that he is able to release updates every 2-3 months, there are problems in the update? LM is not gonna fix them and that is how it has been since the start, he will fix them in the next update but by then you will have a lot more things to complain about.

I know you've been one of his supporters for a long time, and thank you for that.

My criticism is solely about how he handles scenes for different characters. If he can create scenes for Valerie that are ten times better, why doesn't Elin receive the same level of care? Even Lia gets well-crafted scenes, even if they aren't as long as Valerie's.

This is just my opinion on his approach to character scenes. The developer is, of course, free to disregard this feedback.

I don't mind the Valerie scenes, in fact I love all of them, but I was kinda disappointed with the scenes with Val we got last update. All we got is her either being angry at us or clearly expressing an interest but she doesn't get to act on it and I can't even guess when we might get another scene with her, if ever. I feel a lack of scenes with the elven ladies (which I find really beautiful) especially Alaina since she has been a part of the story from the start and yet we have gotten very little with her and I feel like we never will. But I understand that LM can only put so much content in each update (can only really focus on one character at a time), as LM takes quite a short time between releases.

I have loved this game from the beginning but IMO every game dev that started allowing polls to dictate content has ended up alienating or pissing half their fans.
I want LM to make the game and story he wants to make and not be subject to the degenerate whims of retards like us.
Oh well we'll see how it all ends up. Maybe LM can beat the odds.

To this day I feel bad that people voted for Val in 0.11 bonus scene poll instead of Arcadia we were so close at that time and in 0.12 poll she wasn’t even close to 2nd rank.

Nah it’s all good the only thing I want is updates every 2-3 months but people complaining about the same things after every update and hence I don’t want the update frequency to change to once or twice a year because people want a perfect game.

I also don't want the frequency to change. It's one of the best things about this VN. The trend for all quality VNs is for more and more time between updates (many of them a year or more) and by the time the update drops I tend to have forgotten a lot of what has happened. So great job to LM for being consistent for so long. I'm just expressing my frustration with expecting a scene for a character I like for so long and not getting one, but I guess that can't be helped.

Is it? I've been lurking in here since 0.5 dropped, and I swear every update I've seen since, people have been really happy with. It's just for some reason this one is making people mald like fuck, that a god tier milf got an extended scene over some of the other more 'main' girls. I must usually just mentally block out and ignore the complaints I guess then.

Anyways, good update! I'm starting to see what this cycle stuff is about and... I'm starting to think that the Red Emperor drank a bit too much of the pale horse kool-aid.

First, the way the pale horse speaks about breaking the chains, breaking the cycle etc. is pretty much the same as what the red emperor is saying. So either the Red Emperor is a "reflection" or he got scared by the prophecy that the elven oracle told the first human emperor and decided to support or worship the moon/reflection lady. Because she wants the same thing, breaking the cycle of life which leads to a world-level-exctinction event.

Elin is a reflection therefore she is willingly or unwillingly doing the moon/reflection lady's bidding. If you make her pregnant, the child will be like a female version of sauron, lmao. No, even scarier, since she can literally mess with time, interfering with visions that are shown in the past (present for the mc).

From what has been explained about the cycles, well, that's life for you. Kingdoms and empires rise and fall all the time throughout history. So I personally don't mind the cycle. Actually, I'm more on the side of mirta to keep the cycle.

I'm not too fond of the idea that mirta is like a puppeteer and the strings are fate but if the alternative is extinction, is there really a choice? =P

What I don't understand is, how is it possible that the daughter between the mc and elin is more powerful than a goddess? That's something I can't comprehend. Gods and godesses are supposed to be all powerful and so on, so you would think that a godess wouldn't be overpowered by a mere mortal, mage or not. And I doubt 2 mortals can birth a god/goddess.

And why is the red emperor even competing with mirta? The red emperor was also just a human and mirta is a goddess. So is it really the red emperor speaking or is it "the nameless god" that takes the appearance of the red emperor for convenience?

So if the goddess of the elves, mirta, wants to keep the world alive by letting the cycle of life continue
the moon/reflection lady wants to destroy the cycle and the world
the catlady wants the opposite of what the moon/reflection lady wants.

where does the nameless god stand? Does it want to break the cycle or maintain status quo?

I also don't understand fate in this story. Most of the stories I've read that had the concept of fate in it; fate was inevitable. No matter how much a character struggles, they will eventually fulfill their fate. In some cases, the ones who actively are trying to prevent their fate, are the ones who unknowingly fulfill it because of their resistance. So why is fate such a fragile thing in this story? I mean, one wrong choice and it's the end of the world. Also the cycle of life itself, is so fragile. You just have to kill 3 specific persons to end the world... that also contributes to my confusion about the status of mirta as a goddess. Her actions show more of a caretaker role than a queen of the universe kind of role. To be fair, i'm not complaining, just trying to understand the story.

I also feel sorry for Aurora. She is raised to be a political tool; learned all the weddingvows of every culture on the continent and when the mc asked she paused in her answer so what she actually said was a lie. She has low self-esteem and is very timid. She is being painted as an emotional vampire that literally sucks the happiness out of you by the visions of the blood. The future daughter will (prolly) try to steal daddy away from her mother because she is no longer "useful". (the visions of the blood when it's about the cold blood)

Ouch, can't you give this girl a freaking break? xD

That reminds me of another question; what are the conditions to have "cold" and "hot" blood? Isis apparently has hotter blood then the mc and aurora has cold blood. Is it the strength of the bloodline? Is it magical potential? Has it something to do with fate?

Atleast Arcadia is an option and still around, so sooner or later she'll get her scene. Catalina on the other hand... LM may have 'dismissed' that claim.

So just as I though, Lia as need a husband to cover elis's impregnation, but I rather to let her not marry and always side with her brother instead of touched by other male even it is a fake marriage...
The dungeon scene make me remember that not only human and elves in that world but also vampire which is old enough to practice a hundred year's old plan, maybe it can link to the vampire in the council and that vampire milf?
It is hard to choose between aurora and elin, since elin had so much pressure on her for sacrificing all just for elis, on the other hand elis will be a jerk not to be with his wife when she suffer in pain while giving birth...
And now we know that we will visit the north and aurora have a sister around Lia's age and one older sister, just wonderful.
For now the cycle is finally clear, like what human do to the elves there will be another species to invade, that's in the vision elis and his son fighting to, if elis fail than human will just become like the elves...
Now consider the red king should be the last king of human, maybe the assassin is trying to delay the invasion by killing the last king in order to make the last king appear later in the future?
