I like cass as a character but why would MC ever accept her coup suggestion?
You essentially dissolve all the checks and balances and give her immense power, while gaining nothing in return.

We don't know at all what exactly the elves are planning, all we know is the mother has meet with them regular. And IIRC Cass is only telling us that when we are not on her path/she has a low opinion of the MC.

There is nothing indicating that Elves planning a coup as of now. Even if they want to how...? There are only two Elf and a three half-elf in the court and not much of a Elven sypmhatizer. If you ask me: Elven conspiracy's purpouse is manipulating the MC for the favor of Elves yet by now their only success is forcing/deceiving king to exile MC. Meanwhile, Cass gathered support of Western lords, Elin-Lockhart marriage is probably her doing and if not, surely in her favor. Also she assassinated all the soothsayers which Elves send to the court and in this way she countered Elves' only successful move. This is probably why Queen hates her this much.

Maybe you got that from a different path that I took but only thing I know of is a conspiracy to gain favour with the MC and potentially influence him in benefiting the elves. How would they even coup and who would they put on the throne?

There are code variables you can find in console command that indicate elves are planning a bloody coup with killings and assassination of the royal family but it is not utilized yet. There is variables linked to it that indicate siding with cass will make elven guerillas lunch an attack at palace.

Hello everyone. My new computer arrived a few days ago! I thought about sharing this news right away, but I did not expect that transferring data to a new computer would take so long, at one point I even thought that I would have to re-download the entire data library for rendering, which would take even more time. But fortunately, I found a ten-year-old piece of advice on a God-forsaken forum and it helped. I'm going back to rendering and I can tell you something that will make you happy - the overall rendering speed has increased by about 3 times! Moreover, I no longer have to spend time rendering complex scenes with a large number of characters in several passes. If before I couldn't afford more than 2-3 characters in a scene, now I've managed to render a scene even with 7.

All this would be impossible without the people who help me. Thank you!

hope LM is able to maintain the current two month development cycle if the render quality increases.

On his post about ordering a new PC rig for rendering, majority of the Patrons agreed that he should focus on increasing the update cadence, not on increasing graphical quality. The game is already a looker, it doesn't need BaDIK levels of quality just for us to wait 4 months for updates again. So, in essence, he should put out updates of higher quality (but not enough to actually notice, just a cleaner image maybe) and faster now.

Math tells us that renders for 0.6 will be done in 15 - 20 days, and add a week for testing & spell check, we are looking at a late September release - unless the next dev update has the render speed increase even further.

Hella fast if you ask me, and lovin' every second of it. Give your love to Lazy Monkey!
