Really, you guys don't find her suspicious? She's constantly lying and withholding information from MC. Plus she's allied to Alaina, who's GIGA sus. There are two big sus scenes with Mom, first in the one you get if you don't kiss Ellin at the start, where Mom and Alaina discuss Ellis' exile and it sounds like they're the ones who orchestrated it, though later it is said Father ordered it. The second is after you meet the cousin twins and Mom and the girl have a fight; the girl calls Mom a pathological liar, and when Ellis questions her, she immediately shifts the focus and seduces him. The second scene wouldn't be so suspicious knowing Mom's sister is jealous of her, except that when Ellis' asks why they fought Mom lies and says she doesn't know. Later, the truth is revealed when we meet the aunt, but it's worth asking: did we find out only because the aunt was present? Why didn't Mom just say the truth from the start? Also, there's the whole matter of Cass' rebellion. We know Alaina helped her with it, and it just so happens Alaina also helped Mom escape. AND we know from the past vision that Father died instead of Cass' mother.
They seem to be elf supremacists, but at this point, it's hard to tell if that's all there is to it.
I personally believe that the mom used to be part of the elven supremacy conspiracy until the MC got sent away. Then she realized that she fucked up and started becoming more of a mother to the MC.

When you translate or get the elf girl in the council to translate, she makes alaina write down logs at the activity of the MC. It seems to me, she just wanted to know how the MC was doing.

The whole thing with your aunt and cousin is due to the whole thing of the elder (Seraphina) supposed to be a "leader" to the elven people, but your mom has been denying that due to her love for you. They outright ignore her call to arms to aid you and instead do their own thing which turns out harmful in some war scenarios playthroughs due to causing many distractions.
For sure though, Alaina is an elven supremacist because she smiles if you choose your elven half and may have had a hand in manipulating cass coup (I provided screenshots in a previous post of this), furthermore if chose Cass, she conspires with Conrad about succession to the throne "just in case something happened".

Alaina is suspicious and so far it seems like she's planning on undermining the mc's authority. The mom I don't think is currently doing anything suspicious because he's her son and he doesn't want to see him come to harms way. She's just going to hope mc will support the elves eventually while Alaina is going to try and force it to happen. The cousins never meet the mom and only dislke her because their mother dislikes her. Main point, the mom is an optimist while Alaina is doing stuff behind everyone's backs for her own goals.

I just hope the queen mother is pregnant. I played the game because I liked the queen
We might see her getting pregnant in 1.0 Update although I won’t be too optimistic about it as we are already having scenes with Priscilla, Cass, Ophelia and one of our Wives so it might be difficult to squeeze in Queen getting pregnant.

No, the Queen is not getting pregnant in 1.0. She hasn’t even given MC a blowjob, so having sex with MC is out of the question.

Most likely he had been saved by Elf's healing magic, cause healing magic in IC took lifeforce away from the user, as mentioned by MC at the begining of the game. No human mage can heal such wound, but maybe an elf mage can.
Maybe the Queen saved him, then he married her.
By the way, if you avoid Cass enough the whole game. She wouldn't tell us the tragic story about her past love at the bar, and would tell about how the Queen secretly contact with those Elves.
Everything else you say here is true, she's sus af, same as Alaina

By now, we should have been already able to continue the extermination which our human ancestors left off. Too bad MC is half-blood. A little clip-clip from the top of the ear'd fix the issue though.
That aside I don't think Alaina and Queen is in a league. Seems to me Alaina is just a opportunist or at the very least some kind of sleeper agent with the intentions of favoring Elves. I mean she knows teleportation it shouldn't be that hard to report back to Elven realm. Though I suspect she wouldn't even deny workin' in Elves' favor. What I suspect far now is that -based on how Elves treat MC- both Alaina and Queen may had been orchestrating a 'saga' or fabricating a legend for MC to gain the support of Elves and manipulate the MC to symphatize with Elves in that regard. I mean when you think about ain't it the 'generic' prophecised Prince story? He had been cast out, lived among Commoners yeeet he had the best teachers of the world and so on, so on... The reality is he is a huge pervert (y'could be even a rapist), ain't so smart or witful, doesn't know much shit about intrigue or any courtly skills in that regard. Yet he is very practical in general, occassionally quick to react to all kind of situations, hit the rock-bottom once or twice probably (and more to come I guess...?) and has a natural charisma thanks to his uniqueness or not. It may be cool to see some flashbacks about the exile life every now and then. And most of all he is blessed with Cass <3 <3 <3

I'm more in favor of elves. If we can coexist without racial strife, why not?

That's pretty interesting, thanks. This game has so many hidden scenes. But then, makes the whole death of the previous Queen all the more mysterious and adds to the theory Cass works for the elves.

I think the more concrete answer of cass working with the elves would be in the present witch insight where if she is locked up, Alaina remarks on giving her the push and cass tells her that she still had her head after all that which alaina responds that she wants to go back to where they were sharing secrets.

looking forward to Josephine joining MC's harem now that her husband is dead:ROFLMAO:
Lets hope she is still alive if choose the nobles or cass path

Am I the only one who thinks the mother is very suspicious?
You are not. We really do not know enough about the background shit going on to know who to trust. The MC being who he is can be forgiven. With the precedent of Cassie though, I'm not quite sure from a meta perspective she would consider any of her work against you.
